We need to provide a list of students who have not completed the self- assessment nor have they been included in a classroom rating scale during a given date range. This will allow admins to quickly identify which students have not been assessed on their current SEL skills. The aim is to increase utilization of the SEL platform and improve student outcomes by identifying areas of need for students/schools via the assessment.
General Concept
Design
When the user clicks Students Not Assessed from the drop-down menu on the List pill tab for the SEL Assessment report, they will see a table listing all students without a complete assessment within the date range.
This table will show a row for each student not assessed and a column for:
Grade
Last Assigned Self-Assessment
Last Completed Self-Assessment
Last Classroom Rating Scale
The user should be able to sort by any column
The user will click Load More to load additional students.
When the user clicks the print button, they will open a printable PDF of the report
When the user clicks the export button, they will be prompted to download an excel or CSV file.
Business Rules
This report will be available if any of the buildings in the filter selection have been allocated SEL SEL student licenses
This report will list all students who have NOT either completed an SEL Self-Assessment (students in grades 3-12) nor have they been assessed on the SEL Classroom Rating Scale (students in grades 6-12) within the date range
If ALL currently active students in applicable grades have either completed an SEL Self-Assessment (grades 3-12) or have been assessed on the SEL Classroom Rating Scale (grades 6-12) within the date range, we will show the no results message
Student
By default, we will sort this list alphabetically by last name
Names will appear as First Name Last Name
Grade
This will show the students' grade as of the last day of our date range
Last Assigned Self-Assessment
This will show the date the self-assessment (any version) was last assigned to the student. This is irrespective of the date range.
If the student was not in grade 3-12 during the date range, we will show NA
If the student was in grade 3-12 during the date range and has never been assigned the self-assessment, we will show Not Assigned
Last Completed Self-Assessment
This will show the date, irrespective of the date range, the student last completed the self-assessment (any version).
If the student was not in grade 3-12 during the date range, we will show NA
If the student was in grade 3-12 during the date range and has never completed the self-assessment, we will show Not Complete
Last Classroom Rating Scale
This will show the date, irrespective of the date range, the student was last assessed as part of the classroom rating scale
If the student was not in grade 6-12 during the date range, we will show NA
If the student was in grade 6-12 during the date range and has never been assessed as part of the classroom rating scale, we will show Not Complete
Export/Print
We will export the data as show on the screen
When the user clicks the print button, we will print based on the currently viewed tab
We will print the table as shown on the screen based on selections
We will not print the filters, side panel, pill tabs, or drop-down menu
