Older students-SAT and ATC benchmark that would include subcategories for Math--Algebraic Expression, Numbers and operations, etc.
User Story
As a teacher user, I need to see a full picture of the student’s academic performance in Math so that I can provide the student with appropriate tools and intervention plans to help them reach their potential in this content area.
UI
To view the Star Math results for a specific student, the user clicks on the Star Math tab.
Acceptance Criteria
Follow same rules for top section containing the student demographics, Academic Needs, Other Details and the Year Selector drop down explained in Overview.

User Story
As a teacher viewing the Star Math Tab for a specific student, I need to see a graph that shows the percentile rank score of the student for each assessment and how it compares to the intervention categories and tier level recommendations so that I can understand the student progress and needs.

Graph and Table Features
To view the percentile rank and the scaled score for a specific assessment on the graph, user clicks on or hovers over the bar inside the graph.

The Date column contains the date the test information was uploaded.
Given user hovers or clicks on the graph, we will show the percentile rank and the scaled score for that assessment
Given a student has taken an assessment more than once during the ScreeningWindowStartDate and ScreeningWindowEndDate, then we will show each of the results of the assessment in the chart below.
We will show in the graph the most recent results. (See image: Spring)
Renaissance has website that includes Percentile Rank and Scaled Scores for each grade and content area. (See: Math Scaled Scores)

X Axis
X axis shows the assessment and the time period it was taken by the student (Fall Quarter 1, Winter Quarter 2, Spring Quarter 3)
We will only show the assessment/time period for which there is student data.
Given there are multiple school years selected, all assessments will be shown in the graph and table for the selected time periods.
Y Axis
Y axis contains the Percentile Rank ranges for each test.
Y axis will count by 10's on all graphs starting at 0 on the bottom through 100 at the top of the graph) (Star Early Literacy, Star Reading, Star Math)
Example: 0, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100
We will show a broken graph symbol for all graphs (Star Early Literacy, Star Reading, Star Math)
The first increment on the Y axis will be the closest preceding increment that is 100 less than the lowest benchmark for the Fall data.
Scaled score benchmark numbers are different for Reading and Math content areas and grade levels.

Colored Portion of the Bars
Each graph (Star Early Literacy, Star Reading, Star Math) will have a blue bar to represent the assessment data for the student.
The graph background will have three colors that represent the tier levels for the given scored percentile ranks as defined in SEL Cut Scores:
Red (bottom): Urgent Intervention, Tier 3
Orange (middle) Intervention, Tier 2
Blue (top) On watch and At/Above Tier 1
Given I am a user who has changed the Tier level selection in the settings for the benchmark categories, the graph color, category headings, and tier changes will be reflected in the graph colors.
The colors of the graph background indicate the ranges for each of the level categories (Urgent Interventions, Intervention, On Watch, At/ Above)
There are no gaps between the colors.
There will be a graph key on the right side of the graph that shows the Benchmark Category, Tier Level, and Percentile Rank Range

As a teacher or admin viewing the Star Math Tab for a specific student, I need to view if there is an intervention in place and address if a new plan is needed or if a current plan needs to be modified.

Intervention Plan Buttons

Given there is no intervention plan in place when an assessment is integrated and a user creates an intervention plan before the next assessment is integrated, the plan created will show in the Plan column even if it was after the dates.
The intervention plan will show in two rows if no other intervention plan is created when the next assessment is integrated.
Notices
User Story
As a teacher or admin user who is reviewing a particular student’s dashboard, I need a notice for when the student’s performance has triggered a tier 2 or tier 3 level and there is no intervention in place so that I can research the possibility of creating one.
UI:
To create an intervention, the user clicks on Take Action button in the notice.
User is taken to the create screen for Math MTSS Intervention Plan. (Show image.)

Intervention Buttons
User Story
As an admin or teacher user who is considering creating a new intervention plan, I need to view current and past intervention plans so that I can assess the effectiveness of past supports to help me determine the best course of action moving forward.
UI
To view an intervention plan, the user clicks on the Intervention Plan button and is taken to view the intervention plan.
The user will see the T2 Plan Pre-Planning button for a tier 2 plan in pre-planning
The user will see the T2 Plan - In Progress button for a tier 2 plan in progress
The user will see the T2 Plan - Archived button for a tier 2 plan that is archived
The user will see the T2 Plan - Mastered button for a tier 2 plan that is mastered
The user will see the T3 Plan Pre-Planning button for a tier 3 plan in pre-planning
The user will see the T3 Plan - In Progress button for a tier 3 plan in progress
The user will see the T3 Plan - Archived button for a tier 3 plan that is archived
The user will see the T3 Plan - Mastered button for a tier 3 plan that is mastered
Acceptance Criteria
Intervention Buttons are included on Star Early Literacy (SEL), Star Reading, Star Math, Behavior, SEL.
Given user has clicked on an intervention plan button, they will be taken to view the intervention plan.
8 Tier Button variations include:
T2 and T3 Plan-Pre Planning
T2 Plan and T3 Plan In -Progress
T2 Plan T3 Plan -Archived
T2 Plan and T3 Plan- Mastered
A plan that has the status of In Progress will be the priority to show to the user
Given the there is a Plan in Pre-Planning and a Plan In Progress for the student, we will show the In-Progress Plan button for the specified tier level.
Given a student has the same intervention plan in the same status (Pre Planning, In Progress, Mastered, Archived) that extends into another testing window, then we show the same button twice-once in the previous testing season and once in the current testing season.
Given the user changes the status of the plan within the current testing season, we will update the button to reflect the change thus showing only one button with the most current updated status.
Given there is no intervention plan in place when an assessment is integrated and a user creates an intervention plan before the next assessment is integrated, the plan created will show in the Plan column even if it was after the dates.
The intervention plan will show in two rows if no other intervention plan is created when the next assessment is integrated.
The appearance and updates of the Intervention Plan Tier Buttons follows the dates included in the intervention plan and the dates in the Define School Year settings.
We only show one Intervention Plan Tier Button
If there is an update to the intervention plan, the intervention plan button is updated (T2 Pre-planning can be replaced with T2 In-Progress) for changes made during the specific date ranges.
Given the date range/time period has passed, then the button in shown in it’s final variation for that time period.
Only one Intervention Plan Tier button will be shown at a time for each given subject area.
Given there are multiple plans in different statuses, the most recent Intervention Plan will be shown according to the date.
If there is an Archived plan and a user begins a new plan that is in Pre-Planning, the Pre-Planning Intervention Plan will be shown instead on the table.
If there is an In-Progress Plan, this plan will be shown by default.
