The Inbox is broken out into 3 sections: Discussions, Tasks, and Alerts.

Discussions allows users to send/receive messaged within the platform. These messages may be related to a document, and users will want to view this document as a point of reference. These messages can originate from another user’s mobile app OR from web version.

Tasks show users actions that need to be completed in relation to a document. These tasks would involve approving various reports and plans created by a teacher. Multiple users may have the ability to review the same document, so it is important for the user to understand if another team member has already approved the document.

Alerts are triggered by account settings & keep users informed in real-time about anything that might be of concern. For example, a student triggered an alert for lack of progress or involvement in a physical altercation.
