Good to Know!

1

You can set a date (in STEP 6) to have Rethink remind you to review a behavior plan for a target behavior.

The default review date will always be set to one month out. You can edit this date as desired.

2

When the date comes, you will receive a popup, and a red flag will be next to the behavior name.

The pop up and red flag will remain, until the plan has been reviewed via Step 6.

Staff will still be able to collect data on the target behavior if the plan is due for review.

3

To review the plan, go to the CREATE PLAN tab and click on the behavior that has a flag next to it. Then click on the EDIT button next to STEP 6.

4

Once you have clicked on EDIT next to the STEP 6 button, you will be asked two questions.

Plan Was Reviewed:

Do Changes Need to be Made to the Plan?:

The ABC data graphs for the target behavior can be viewed from STEP 6.

5

If no changes are needed click NO and set a new REVIEW DATE.

6

If changes are needed, click YES and note the changes you are making. Then click SAVE EDITS.

Changes may include: updating the operational definition, add/removing antecedent and consequence based strategies, changing the staff responsible for implementing the plan and recording data on the plan, etc.

7

Once you click SAVE, you will receive a pop up. This pop up will have you name your new plan and indicate the date that the new plan is starting. This step MUST be completed to continue collecting data on the target behavior.

If staff skip this step, they will not be able to collect data on the target behavior. They will receive the following message in DATA ENTRY:

8

If staff skipped the above step and receive pop up message in DATA ENTRY. They will need to go to the target behavior under the CREATE PLAN tab and EDIT STEP 1.

9

The fields they will need to edit in STEP 1 are PLAN and START DATE.

Once the PLAN name has been added and the START DATE of the new plan. Click SAVE AS NEW PLAN.

These were the two fields that were skipped when they received the pop up when reviewing the plan and making changes.

These fields MUST be completed to continue data collection on the target behavior.

10

Once the above steps have been completed, staff will be able to continue collecting data on the target behavior.

Data will now be collected on the new plan.

Data on the new plan will remain on the same graph under VIEW DATA. However, a new data series will be created, indicating the start of a new plan.
