We are excited to announce the availability of the MTSS Admin Portal Dashboard designed to enhance administrative control and streamline student assessment and tracking for the upcoming school year.

What Is It?

The MTSS/Behavior District Level Dashboard provides a high-level view for District Level Administrators, showing an overall picture of the entire district. Depending on the products purchased, the dashboard includes the following tabs: Overview, ELA, Math, Behavior, SEL, and Attendance

Detailed Updates

  1. Assessment Integration

    • Content Areas: Focus on ELA and Math with supported assessments from Renaissance, Curriculum Associates, and Houghton Mifflin Harcourt.

    • Behavior and SEL: Configurations for integrated and non-integrated settings.

  2. Settings Lock and Data Sensitivity

    • Behavior Settings: Lock upon entry of the first incident or data point.

    • SEL Assessments: Settings lock post the first student self-assessment in the fall.

  3. Assessment Providers and Criteria

    • Renaissance: Includes percentile ranges and tier levels with editable options for middle tiers.

    • Curriculum Associates: Features fixed percentile ranges with tier allocations.

    • Houghton Mifflin Harcourt: Offers a range of percentile-based tier settings, editable except for the highest and lowest tiers.

  4. Attendance Settings

    • Configurable Tracking: Both Absences and Tardies can be tracked by total percentage or total days, with editable benchmark ranges.

    • Calculation Updates: Nightly updates provide timely tracking and tier adjustments.

Key Features:

  • School Year Dropdown: Default to the current school year with options to view past years' data. Consistent selection across all tabs.

  • Group By Filter: Options include Region and Building, with Building as the default.

  • Search Bar: Easily search for buildings within the selected tab. Results are tab-specific and can be reset with an eraser symbol.

  • Filters: Includes Grade, Gender, Race, IEP, FRL, Housing Status, 504, EP. Only displays values from the district’s integrated data, increasing speed and relevance.

  • Building Selection: Click on a building name to view specific data. A title at the top of the Overview page indicates the selected building.

  • Drill Through Options: Right-click to drill down to Classroom and Grade Details within the selected building.

  • Tier Criteria: Determining Tier Criteria is completed by the highest level admin in the Admin Settings. Tier Criteria is necessary for all integrated and non-integrated assessments and/or data collection vehicles for ELA, Math, Behavior, SEL, and Attendance. Many of the settings have editable criteria, allowing districts to customize as needed. The Tier Criteria populates throughout all schools within the district to ensure uniform data collection. Settings apply for one school year.

  • Cleaner Labeling: The user interface has been improved with cleaner labeling at the Tier level, displaying both percentages and the number of students across all tabs. This enhancement ensures that administrators can quickly and accurately interpret the data, making it easier to identify trends and make informed decisions.
