We need to update the Student Dashboard to reflect the addition of Behavior Tracking in the Tier 2 and Tier 3 Levels.

User Stories:

  • As a teacher who has selected behaviors for my tier 2 student, I need a way to track so that I can measure the success my student is having from the support.

  • As a teacher who needs to evaluate the success of behaviors I have created for individual student, I need a way to view data collection so that I can communicate the results to my colleagues.

Acceptance Criteria:

  • Given I am a User with access to Behavior Support OR MTSS interventions Tracking (all tools or Behavior Tracking enabled) and permission to view Behavior support, >Add/Edit Behaviors

Section 1: DashboardsStudent Dashboard

UI:

  • For Tier 1, 2 and Tier 3 in Behavior Support for a student, we need to add Behavior Tracking

Business Rules:

  • Users belonging to an account that has purchased Behavior Support OR MTSS Intervention Tracking (all tools) and who have permission to View Behavior Support will see this area.

  • Users belonging to an account that has purchased Behavior Support OR MTSS Intervention Tracking (all tools) and who have permission to View Behavior Support will see the view button on Behavior Tracking.

  • Users belonging to an account that has purchased Behavior Support OR MTSS Intervention Tracking (all tools) and who have permission to View Behavior Support will be able to add/edit behaviors.

  • If either the point system or incident reporting (and no other tools) have been used for a student, that student will show as being at Tier 1.

  • If behavior tracking (not behavior plan), behavior contract, or self-monitoring have been used for a student, that student will show as being at Tier 2.

  • If a behavior plan has been started for a student, that student will show as being at Tier 3.

Section 2: Behavior Tracking Navigation

UI:

  • User clicks on View Behaviors button to go to Student Reports.

  • User clicks on Track Behaviors button to go to Data express.

  • To track behaviors, the User clicks on Behavior Tracking from Side navigation on Tier 2 or Tier 3 Dashboards.

Business Rules:

  • If the User clicks on View Behaviors button they are taken to Student Reports.

  • If the User clicks on Track behaviors button, they are taken to Data Express.

  • If the User clicks on Behavior tracking from side navigation, they are taken to Data Express.

  • (What if a student has multiple behaviors to track and/or multiple collection tools used or a combination of behaviors and tools?) .

Paraprofessionals

  • Given I am a user with access to either Behavior Tracking or MTSS Interventions (all tools or Behavior tracking/Plans enabled) and permission to Behavior Support > View Behaviors, I will see the View button.

    • Paraprofessionals can view but not edit behavior plans.

Updated Student Dashboard

  • Behavior Tracking Card is being moved to Tier 1.

  • Behavior tracking Card is has updated text as follows:

    • View target behaviors and record student progress monitoring. Appropriate for student with specific behavior goals that need to be monitored on a regular basis.


Section 2: View and Track Behaviors

UI:

  • User selects Track behavior button track a current behavior in data express.

  • User selects view behaviors to view the behaviors of the selected student.

Business Rules:

  • Clicking on View behaviors from the Behavior tracking card takes the user to the student behavior tracking area.

  • Clicking on Track behaviors from the Behavior tracking card takes the user to Data express where they land on the Behavior tab.
