Scheduling rule checks

When an occurrence in a series has its date and time changed that results in overlapping with another occurrence within the same series, the following will occur depending on the funder’s scheduling rule settings:

If the “Two appointments for the Same Client, Service & Time” rule is set to do not allow the user will get a pop-up message informing the user that they cannot save the change.

If the “Two appointments for the Same Client, Service & Time” rule is set to warn and allow the user will receive a warning pop-up but will be allowed to save the change.

If the “Two appointments for the Same Client, Service & Time” rule is set to allow the user will be able to save the appointment with no warning

  • These scheduling rule checks will occur if the date is edited in appointment details or if the occurrence is dragged and dropped onto the same date and time as another occurrence.

  • This process will no longer cause the edited appointment to replace the original appointment scheduled for that time and date

Audit trail

If an occurrence of a series has its date and time changed to the same date and time of another occurrence within the series, and the edit is saved, then this change will now be reflected in the audit trail.
