Overview:

  • When a user navigates to ‘Lesson Domains’ within the EDU Platform Dashboards, the ‘SEL Students’ tab will be the users landing page. It provides detailed information on the Completion of SEL items for students.

UI Description:

  • Tabbed Navigation:

    • A tabbed interface that the user can click on and navigate to different sections of the Lesson Domain Report. Tabs include SEL/LSW, Mental Health, and Skills

  • Date Picker:

    • A date picker that allows users to determine the data range of data that they want to see.

  • Report Toggle:

    • A toggle that allows you to view between the Educator Report (View/Present Items) or the Student Report (Completion of items)

  • Line Graph:

    • A line graph that lets you see how many items are being Viewed/Presented over a set period of time for each domain.

  • View By Toggle:

    • A toggle that lets you change the graph interval times. Options are view by Day, Week, Month, and Year.

  • Search Bar:

    • A search bar that allows for filtering within the data table rows.

  • Filters:

    • Filters that the user could use to narrow down data within the table.

      • Domain, Category, Tier

  • Data Table:

    • A data table that shows key information to the user on what SEL Items are being view and presented by the educator. Default columns include Building, Viewed Lesson 
Plan, Viewed Videos, Viewed Materials, Presented Learn Section, Presented Practice Section, Presented Dive Deeper section, Viewed Activity Plan, Presented Activities.

      • Buildings: Will list all buildings available in the district:

        • Users will be able to drill down to the Teachers within each building, adding an extra column

      • Viewed Activity Plan:

        • Counts the total number of times a user viewed an activity plan.

          • Clicking the ‘View Activity' button in the lesson library.

          • Clicking a module name within a lesson plan.

      • Viewed Lesson 
Plan:

        • Counts the total number of times a user viewed a lesson plan.

          • Clicking the ‘View Lesson’ button in the lesson library.

          • Clicking the lesson name within an activity plan.

      • Viewed Videos:

        • Counts the total number of times a user viewed a video.

          • Clicking the video within the lesson plan materials

          • Clicking the video within the activity plan materials

          • Clicking the video within any present mode.

      • Viewed Materials:

        • Counts the total number of times a user viewed a Material.

          • Clicking a material within the lesson plan materials (Excluding Videos)

          • Clicking a material within the activity plan materials (Excluding Videos)

          • Clicking the materials within any present mode (Excluding Videos)

      • Presented Activities:

        • Counts the total number of times a user presented an activity. (This number should only be counted once when a user clicks the ‘Present’ button on the activity plan. It should not count every time a user clicks into a new item within the presenter mode.

      • Presented Learn Section:

        • Counts the total number of times a user presented the Learn Section from the lesson plan. (This number should only be counted once when a user clicks the main ‘Present’ button and lands on a Learn Section item. It should also count once when a user click the ‘Present’ button on the Learn module level. It should not count every time a user clicks into a new item within the Learn Section of the presenter mode.)

      • Presented Practice Section:

        • Counts the total number of times a user presented the Practice Section from the lesson plan. (This number should only be counted once when a user is within the main ‘Present’ button and then clicks into a Practice Section item. It should also count once when a user clicks the ‘Present’ button on the Practice module level. It should not count every time a user clicks into a new item within the Practice Section of the presenter mode.)

      • Presented Dive Deeper Section:

        • Counts the total number of times a user presented the Dive Deeper Section from the lesson plan. (This number should only be counted once when a user is within the main ‘Present’ button and then clicks into a Dive Deeper Section item. It should also count once when a user click the ‘Present’ button on the Dive Deeper module level. It should not count every time a user clicks into a new item within the Practice Section of the presenter mode.

      • Totals:

        • Adds the total count of every column together.

User Interaction and Validation:

  • Tabbed Navigation:

    • Users should be able to switch between SEL/LSW, Mental Health, and Skills to view different Lesson Domain Data.

    • SEL should be the landing page for users.

  • Date Picker:

    • Users should be able to utilize the date pick to select the date range of data they want to see.

  • Report Toggle:

    • Users should be able to select with report they want to view for SEL. Student Report or Educator Report.

  • Graph

    • User should have a graph populated with lines for each domain.

    • Each domain line should have a plotted point for the combined count of each column in the data table

    • Users should be able to change the interval of the graph by select the Day, Week, Month or Year options.

  • Search Bar and Filters:

    • Users can refine the data displayed in the table by typing in the search bar or selecting options from drop down filters available

  • Data Table:

    • Data table information should populate with the data in the date range selected.

    • Default columns include Building, Viewed Lesson 
Plan, Viewed Videos, Viewed Materials, Presented Learn Section, Presented Practice Section, Presented Dive Deeper section, Viewed Activity Plan, Presented Activities and Totals.

    • User should be able to drill down into a building to view the Grade Levels within each Building

    • Users should be able to drill down into each grade level to view each student and their completed items.
