Students Assessed (SEL Assessment Report)

We need to create a report that shows which students have a complete SEL assessment within a given date range. Furthermore, this report needs to show a summary of SEL assessment results for each student. This will allow administrators to improve outcomes for all students and improve usage of the SEL platform.

General Concept
Design
When the user clicks Students Assessed from the drop-down menu on the List pill tab for the SEL Assessment report, they will see a table listing all students with a complete assessment within the date range.
This table will show a column for each SEL Self-Assessment available within the date range and a column for the SEL Classroom Rating Scale.
For each student listed on the report, we will see their assessment status for each of the listed assessments. The status options are:
Complete
Not Complete
Assigned
Not Assigned
NA
If the user clicks the down arrow on the right, the screen will expand to show the student’s results for each completed assessment. If more than 3 assessments are included, we will use a horizontal scroll bar in the results/details panel.
For the Self-Assessment results, we will show a row for each assessment category:
Total Score
Self-Management
Self-Awareness
Social Awareness
Relationship Skills
Responsible Decision-Making
For the Self-Assessment results, the student will show a score of:
Very Low
Low
Average
High
Very High
For the Classroom Rating Scale results, we will show a row for each assessment category:
Relationship Skills
Responsible Decision-Making
Self Confidence
Emotional Awareness
Emotion Regulation
Self-Regulated Learning
Perspective Taking
Understanding of Norms
For the Classroom Rating Scale results, we will show a score of:
Low
Medium
High
Pending
When the user clicks the up arrow on the right, the results will collapse/hide.
The user will click Load More to load additional students.
When the user clicks the print button, they will open a printable PDF of the report
When the user clicks the export button, they will be prompted to download an excel or CSV file.
Business Rules
This report will be available if any of the buildings in the filter selection have been allocated SEL SEL student licenses
This report will list all students who have either completed an SEL Self-Assessment or have been assessed on the SEL Classroom Rating Scale within the date range
If no students have either completed an SEL Self-Assessment or have been assessed on the SEL Classroom Rating Scale within the date range, we will show the no results message.
Student
By default, we will sort this list alphabetically by last name
Names will appear as First Name Last Name
Grade
This will show the students' grade as of the last day of our date range
SEL Self-Assessment
We will show a column for each SEL Self-Assessment that is available within our date range
Fall 2018 (7/1/2018-12/31/2018)
Spring 2019 (1/1/2019 - 6/30/2019)
Fall 2019 (7/1/2019 - 12/31/2019)
Spring 2020 (1/1/2020 - 6/30/2020)
Fall 2020 (7/1/2020 - 12/31/2020_
Spring 2021 (1/1/2021 - 6/30/2021)
Fall 2021 (7/1/2021 - 12/31/2021)
Etc following this pattern
Statuses
Complete will show if the student completed the given assessment within the date range
Assigned will show if the assessment is actively assigned to the student, but the student has not completed the assessment within the date range
Not Assigned will show if the assessment has not been assigned to the student within the date range
NA will show for any student who has not completed the given assessment within the date range AND who is not in grade 3-8.
Scores
In the expanded view, we will show the students' scores for each assessment category
The scores should be translated as
0-34: Very Low
35-45: Low
45-54: Average
55-61: High
62-100: Very High
Classroom Rating Scale
Statuses
Complete will show if the student has been assessed as part of the SEL Classroom Rating Scale within the date range
Not Complete will show if the student has not been assessed as part of the SEL Classroom Rating Scale within the date range AND if the student is in grade 6-12.
NA will show if the student has not been assessed as part of the SEL Classroom Rating Scale within the date range AND if the student is not in grade 6-12.
Scores
We will show the scores based on the most recently completed rating scale within the date range.
Export/Print
Export
We will export a separate sheet for each assessment that appears on the report
Each sheet will be titled with the same of the assessment

When filtered by district, we will show all results on one screen. There will be no tabs

This report will be available if any of the district’s child accounts the user has access to have been allocated SEL SEL student licenses
This report will list all students in all of the district’s child accounts the user has access to who have either completed an SEL Self-Assessment (students in grades 3-12) OR have been assessed on the SEL Classroom Rating Scale (students in grades 6-12) within the date range
If NO currently active students in applicable grades in all of the district’s child accounts the user has access to have either completed an SEL Self-Assessment (grades 3-12) or have been assessed on the SEL Classroom Rating Scale (grades 6-12) within the date range, we will show the no results message

If NO currently active students in applicable grades who are assigned to team members with the selected role in all buildings the user has access to have either completed an SEL Self-Assessment (grades 3-12) or have been assessed on the SEL Classroom Rating Scale (grades 6-12) within the date range, we will show the no results message
Students will show under each role in which they were assigned to team members with the selected role within the date range
