We need to update the Classroom Dashboard to reflect the addition of Behavior Tracking within the Behavior Tools for Tier Levels 2 and 3.
User Stories:
As a teacher with my own classroom, I need to create Behaviors to track without creating a formal behavior plan so that I can monitor the progress my student is making toward their academic and behavior goals.
As a classroom teacher I need quick access to Behavior Tools so that I can create behaviors to track for my students who are in need of an intervention.
Acceptance Criteria:
Given I am a User with access to MTSS interventions (all tools or Behavior Tracking enabled) and I have permission to Behavior Support > View will see the Behavior tools button.
Given I am a User with access to MTSS interventions (all tools or Behavior Tracking enabled) and I have permission to Behavior Support and Classrooms> View the classroom dashboard.
Section 1: Classroom Dashboard
UI:
User sees classroom dashboard.
User clicks on Behavior Tools from the left side navigation to open behavior tools.
Business Rules:
Users with access to MTSS interventions (all tools) and have permission to Behavior Support > View the View Behavior button.
Users with permission to View classrooms will see Behavior Tools as part of the left side navigation.
Users belonging to an account that has purchased Behavior Support and who have permission to View Behavior Support will see this area.
Section 2: View / Create New Behaviors to Track
UI:
User sees behavior tools screen.
User clicks on View behaviors button to view a list of students with behavior tracking.
User sees view behaviors screen.
To create a new behavior, User clicks on Create New Behavior.
User selects student for creation of new behavior tracking from pop-up box.
User selects Create button to begin set up for behavior tracking.
User selects Cancel to cancel the selection and return to the View Behaviors screen beneath it.
User selects X (close) to close the pop up.
Business Rules:
Users who click on Behavior Tools from the left side navigation are taken to the Behavior Tools Screen.
From the Behavior Tools screen, selecting View Behaviors from the Behavior Tracking card menu takes the user to View Behaviors.
If user selects a student from the pop-up, they are taken to Select Behavior to Track.
Paraprofessionals
Given I am a user with access to either Behavior Tracking or MTSS Interventions (all tools or Behavior tracking/Plans enabled) and permission to Data Tracking > Record Behaviors, I will see the record button. (See image: View Behavior Screen)
Given I am a user with access to either Behavior Tracking or MTSS Interventions (all tools or Behavior tracking/Plans enabled) and permission to Behavior Support > View Behaviors, I will see the View button. (See image: View Behavior Screen)
Paraprofessionals can view but not edit behavior tracking.
Given the user is a paraprofessional (Role 2), they will not see the Create Behavior link on Classroom List. (See image: View Behaviors Screen)
Updated Classroom Dashboard
Behavior Tracking Card is being moved to Tier 1.
Behavior tracking Card is has updated text as follows:
View target behaviors and record student progress monitoring. Appropriate for student with specific behavior goals that need to be monitored on a regular basis.
