User Story:

As an admin user who needs to see a high level view of alerts for my building(s) and be able select a specific building, I need to view an alert report so that I will have the most up to date information for each of my buildings.

UI:

  • To view the alerts, user clicks on the Bell for Alert Report.

(Alert Report)
  • To select a specific building, user clicks on the drop down arrow and selects the building.

  • To select a particular classroom, user clicks on the classroom name.

Acceptance Criteria:

  • Users with access to MTSS Interventions (all tools and/or Behavior Tracking/Behavior Plan, Points, Incidents, Intervention Tracking) AND who are a Role 7 user (if multiple account levels exist) or a Role 5 (if no child accounts exist) and permission to Behavior Support ->Receive Alerts can see the Alert Report page.

  • User with access to Behavior Support will see only Behavior Plan/Behavior Tracking, and Incidents Alerts who are a Role 7 user (if multiple account levels exist) or a Role 5 (if no child accounts exist) and permission to Behavior Support ->Receive Alerts can see the Alert Report page.

  • Follow established rules for Alerts. (See Alerts | Incident Reports | Behavior Suite)

Admin Alert Bell

  • The number inside the bell and the number in the title of the page match-showing the number of current alerts. (See image: Alert Report. Bell has 83 Alerts.)

  • Current alerts are those which occur within the last 30 days.

  • If an alert has occurred prior to the last 30 days, it is not included in the Alert Report.

All Alerts Drop Down (See upper right side of Alert Report)

  • This menu option will only show if the user has permission to Receive Alerts (under Behavior Support) AND if there is an active alert in the read or unread messages

  • By default we will show All buildings, All grades, All Alerts.

    • The drop down selection for All Alerts contains: All, Incidents, Behavior Plans, Intervention Plans, Behavior Tracking, Points / Behavior. (See image: Admin Alerts)

    • Given user selects a specific alert type from the drop down, the buildings tabs will show only that alert type.

All Buildings Drop Down (See upper left side of Alert Report)

  • We will default showing all buildings.

  • Given user selects a specific building, we will show only the expandable tab for that building. (See image: Sunnyside K-4)

Expanding School Tab

  • The alerts for each building next to the tab match the number of alerts triggered for that building. (See image Alert Report for Sunnyside K-4 where 20 Alerts is shown)

  • If possible, we would like to see an alert breakdown in the title Alert Categories. (Please see image: Alert Report for Sunnyside K-4 where the Alert Categories reads: Alert Categories: Intervention Plan (6), Behavior Plan (2), Incidents (2), Behavior Tracking (2), Points / Behavior ( 8 ).

  • The numbers inside the parenthesis would add together to match the alert number next to the expanding arrow for the Sunnyside K-4.

  • If a building did not have at least one alert for a specific category, we would leave that category off the list.

  • We will list the buildings in order of the number of Alerts with the building containing the highest number of Alerts first and remaining buildings continue from highest to lowest number of Alerts.

    • If there is more than one building with the same number of Alerts, we will list those buildings in alphabetical order. (See image: Admin Alerts. Look for Hance 6-8 and North 9-12)

    • Given a user has selected a specific building, we will show the classrooms within that building listed by the classroom with the highest number of alerts. (See image: Sunnyside K-5 where Classroom 3 is listed first with 11 alerts)

  • Given a user has selected a specific classroom, they are taken to the Classroom Report. (See image: Classroom Report). Pick up with Section: Classroom Alert Report -Admin Flow.
