Student Dashboard | Individual Reset Password and Print Credentials

We need to create a way for the users with Manage Classroom permission to reset an individual student’s password.

MTSS Student Dashboard

User Story

As a user, I need a way to access the profile to change an individual student’s password if the student and I forget their password.

UI

  • Once the user visits the student dashboard of the students that they have access to, they will see the settings button.

  • Once the user with Manage classroom permissions clicks the settings button, they will see the Viewable Student Profile.

  • Once the ADMIN user with Manage classroom permissions clicks the settings button, they will see the Editable Student Profile found in SETUP tab.

Acceptance Criteria

  • Given I am a user with access to MTSS-Interventions and I have the Manage Classroom permission and I am viewing a student assigned to my classroom, I will see the settings button on the student dashboard page.

  • Given I am an Admin user with access to MTSS-Interventions and I have the SETUP ADD/EDIT Students permission and I am viewing a student within my building or district, I will see the settings button on the student dashboard page.

  • Given I am a user with access to MTSS-Interventions and I have the Manage Classroom permission and I have clicked the settings button for a student assigned to my classroom, I will see a viewable version of the student profile with the ability to change the password and print.

  • Given I am an Admin user with access to MTSS-Interventions and I have the SETUP ADD/EDIT Students permission and I have clicked the settings button for a student that I have access to within my building or district, I will see the editable version of the student profile from the SETUP area.

  • Given I am a user with access to MTSS-Interventions and I have the VIEW Classroom permission, I will see the new student details on the top of the student dashboard and NOT the settings button.

 

Change Password

User Story

As a user, I need a way to change an individual student’s password if the student and I forget their password.

UI

  • Once the user visits the VIEWABLE Student Profile screen, they can click change password

  • They can then input 6 characters to change the password.

  • They will need to write the same 6 characters in the Confirm password field

  • It will work the same as it does in the change password in setup area.

  • Once they click confirm the password is saved to database.

Acceptance Criteria

  • Given I am a user with access to MTSS-Interventions and I have the Manage Classroom permission and I have clicked the settings button for a student assigned to my classroom and I am viewing the Student profile page, I will see the change password button.

  • Given I am an Admin user with access to MTSS-Interventions and I have the SETUP ADD/EDIT Students permission and I have clicked the settings button for a student that I have access to within my building or district, I will be able to edit the page per usual.

  • Given I am a user with access to MTSS-Interventions and I have the Manage Classroom permission and I have clicked the settings button for a student assigned to my classroom and I clicked the change password button, I will be able to add a password and confirm the password.

  • Given I am a user with access to MTSS-Interventions and I have the Manage Classroom permission and I have clicked the settings button for a student assigned to my classroom and I have added a password and confirmed that same password, I will see the password has been changed.

Print

User Story

As a user, I need a way to print the credentials so that I can remember it and give it to the student to login.

UI

  • Once the user clicks the print button, they will see the print credential card.

UPDATE PRINT Card

  • The user will now see card for the student profile being viewed only from the Student Profile area

  • The user will see the student name at the top

  • The user will see “ Build skills at home and at school with fun educational online activities! To access Rethink’s Student Center, go to www.rethinked.com.”

  • The user will only see the Username

  • The password will NO LONGER be shared from print credential card

  • They will have space to write the password.

  • Please update in student area and Now classroom area so that new design shows when printing all students credentials

Classroom

  • Users can print off all student credentials cards for the students in their classroom being viewed (now without actual password) from classroom.

Student Area

  • Users can still print off cards from student area but now they will have updated card design.

  • Given I am an Admin user with access to MTSS-Interventions and I have the SETUP ADD/EDIT Students permission and I have clicked the settings button for a student that I have access to within my building or district, I will see the print button.

  • Please add print button to the SETUP profile area

  • Given I am a user with access to MTSS-Interventions and I have the Manage Classroom permission and I am viewing the student profile settings, I will NOT see the actual password and I will need to write it down.

  • Given I am an Admin user with access to MTSS-Interventions and I have the SETUP ADD/EDIT Students permission and I have clicked the settings button for a student that I am viewing the student profile settings, I will NOT see the actual password and I will need to write it down.

  • Given I am a user with access to MTSS-Interventions and I have the Manage Classroom permission and I am viewing the classroom, I will be able to print off the new credentials for the students in my classroom and NOT see the actual password and I will need to write it down.

  • Given I am a user with access to MTSS-Interventions and I have the Manage Classroom permission and I am viewing the student area, I will be able to print off the new credentials for the students and NOT see the actual password and I will need to write it down.

  • Given I am an Admin user with access to MTSS-Interventions and I have the SETUP ADD/EDIT Students permission and I am viewing the classroom, I will be able to print off the new credentials for the students in my classroom and NOT see the actual password and I will need to write it down.

All Products with Classroom and student components

User Story

As a user with any product, I want to be able to change student’s passwords.

UI

  • Once the user visits the student dashboard, they will now see the student details at the top.

  • If they have the proper permissions they will see the settings button.

  • The user will then see the product assigned graph and the cards below for Skills, SEL, etc.

  • SEL please change menu order so first SEL Rating scale, then incident tracking, and add custom graph as menu option. Default to SEL graph.
