District Level Admin: Settings | Days Based Attendance
Description: As an admin user who is establishing the Attendance Settings for our district, I need to have options for selecting criteria used to determine Tiers so that our data collection matches our needs to see data by a count of total days for Absences and Tardies.
Acceptance Criteria:
The default view is Percentage Based Tracking Method.

Edit Button
Description: User clicks to show options for Tracking Methods and default Benchmark criteria for each Tracking Method which can be edited.
Required: No
Type of Input: Button
Validation Criteria:
If selected then the default tracking method: Percentage Based with the default Benchmark criteria for Percentage Based in an edit state is shown ( See District Level Admin Settings | Percentage Based (Default View for more information about the starting place for the User flow)
Tracking Method Dropdown
Description: User clicks on down arrow and select Days based from the dropdown.
Required: Yes

Validation Criteria: Days Based
If edit is selected and Days Based is selected, then How it works reads: The criteria is an ongoing count of days absent and tardy. Students can only move from less intensive to a more intensive Tiers.
If Days Based is selected, then the benchmark criteria is editable and reads:
Absence: 0 to 4 Tier 1, 5 to 9 Tier 2, 10 or higher Tier 3
0 is locked
Tardy: 0 to 4 Tier 1, 5 to 9 Tier 2, 10 or higher Tier 3
0 is locked
Additional Information
The ranges in numbers for benchmarks go in order from least to greatest for Tier1, Tier 2, Tier 3.
The ranges in numbers for benchmarks must all be included within the tiers (with no overlap) ranging from 0 for the low end of Tier 1 (locked value) through the low range for Tier 3.
There is no high range limit for Tier 3
Cancel Button
Description: The cancel button removes the Users edits for the Tracking Method, and Absence/Tardy ranges for Tiers.
Required Field: No
Type of Input: Button
Validation Criteria: If selected, then the edits made to the Tracking Method which include Absence/Tardy ranges are returned to the default state.
Save Button
Description: The Save button saves the edits the User has made to the Tracking Method, and Absence/Tardy ranges for Tiers.
Required Field: Yes, if edits are made.
Type of Input: Button
Validation Criteria: If selected, then the edits made to the Tracking Method, and Absence/Tardy ranges are changed from their default to the User's selection
Additional Information:
Only one Tracking Method can be applied.
Given User edits Tracking Method and/or benchmark criteria multiple times and selects Save, then their most recent edit replaces any previous edits.
The most recent edit prior to the first data sync is the setting used throughout MTSS Dashboard
The first data sync makes the edit button inactive for the remainder of the school year
Edited By
Description: Edited by includes the date and the name of the User who updated the settings
Required Field: Yes, if Edit button has been selected
Validation Criteria: If the Edit button has been selected, then we show the name of the User who updated the settings and the date the settings were updated under the heading: Edited
User Workflows
District Level Admin goes to Settings area
Path: Dashboard > Set Up > Account Settings > MTSS Dashboard > Attendance Tab
Select Edit button to edit the settings
Select Tracking Method for Attendance: Percentage Based or Days Based
Select Benchmark Criteria for the Tracking Method Selected: Percentage Ranges or Total Days ranges
Select Save to save the updates

Allowing District Level Admin to select Tracking Method?
If we do so, then we need to adjust Admin Portal for our Integration Team to enter default criteria for both Days Based and Percentage Based (Recommended)
