Rethink’s RBT Training - 40 hour training for the RBT credential:

Beginning December 1,  candidates will be required to complete all existing and newly-added content in order to earn the 40-hour training certificate required for the coursework component of the RBT certification.

  • With the new updates there are 26 areas of content and 82 modules that are required to be completed.

  • Modules that were completed prior to December 1st are still completed, however, the additional content and modules are required as well.

  • Certificates dated on or before November 30th will still be accepted by the BACB even if the candidate submits an application after that date.

  • Any candidate who does not complete the course before November 30th will be required to complete all of the new/additional content in Rethink’s RBT training course to earn a 40 hour training certificate.

  • All coursework must still be completed within 180 days and no less than 5 days from the start date for training to qualify for the RBT credential.

Visit www.rethinkbh.com to log in to your personal Rethink Account:

Enter your Username and Password (Case Sensitive):

Once you're logged in, click on the Resources and Training Center:

Click on Registered Behavioral Tech Training:

You will be required to complete 26 content areas (82 modules) beginning with The Registered Behavior Technician Training and Credential and ending with: Professionalism for RBTs

To get started click on Watch Training to begin the videos that will prepare you for the Test at the end of each Module:

*You will also have access to guided notes to assist you with the modules:

Each Training module contains Video "Parts". The "Part" highlighted in blue to the right of the video with signify your progress throughout the video module:

 

***It is important to note that if you need to leave the Module, the system will pick up where you left off, the next time you go to continue your RBT Training.

Within some of the modules, you will be presented with quiz questions to review the content in the training prior to taking specific module tests.

  • Once you have studied all of the videos and taken the practice quizzes, you will see the Start Test button will be colored and available for access:

  • Each Test has a time limit of 30 minutes and a passing score criterion of 90% or higher.

  • Some of the modules do not require you to take quiz and tests and the end of the module. For these modules, all that is required is completing the training video.

If you do not achieve passing criterion, (don't worry!) you will have the option to retake the test:

After taking the exam, your score will be displayed next to the Training Module. If you take the test several times, your HIGHEST score will be displayed here:

If you completed a training module without quiz questions and a test, this module will show a status of “complete” once you have completed the training video.

  • Once you have completed all modules in the 26 content areas, you can Print a Certificate that will verify you have completed the 40 hours of RBT Training through Rethink!:

  • If you have completed all of the coursework, the number 40 HR 24 MIN will be listed next o Hours of Instruction:

  • Please keep in mind that this certificate qualifies you for the completion of the 40 hours of training ONLY.
