Back-Dating Data--Website ONLY

Here is a step-by-step guide outlining how one can enter baseline or intervention data for previous session dates.

Back-Dating Baseline Data

Step 1) Select the desired program from the Data Entry tab inside a clients profile

  • Every program starts in baseline, which is why you see the word “Baseline” on the right-hand side of the program

Step 2) Select the Calendar option to choose the first date at which baseline data for the program needs to be entered.

Step 3) Enter in baseline data for that date and hit save. Complete step 2 for each day that baseline data is back-dated for

Step 4) If you are not collecting baseline data on Rethink, but are just back-dating the program to move out of baseline at a previous date so you can now back-date intervention data, then omit Step 3 and move out of baseline on that pre-selected date. See the move out of baseline resource for more assistance.

Back-Dating Intervention Data

IMPORTANT NOTE: As noted above, every new program opened for data collection in Rethink automatically begins in baseline. If you aren’t adding in baseline data for Rethink, but you need to back-date previous intervention data, you first need to back-date the date of which you move out of baseline. If you already moved out of baseline, no need to include this note. See the moving out of baseline resource for more information.

Step 1) Select the desired client and enter the Data Entry tab

Step 2) Select the desired target(s)

Step 3) On the right hand side, click the calendar icon

Step 4) From the calendar drop down, you can now select the desired date for data entry
