Saving Session Note Improvements (Mobile Browser)
The changes below were made as a direct result of customer feedback.
We have made improvements in the following areas:
Auto Save functionality now available on mobile browser
When users can save edits to previously submitted notes saved to the client file cabinet
Simplified pop up messaging when users navigate away from the session note area
Removed pop up messaging when users navigate away from the session note area and have not made changes
Auto Save Draft added label
When the Auto-Save feature is applied the system will display “Auto Save Draft” above the session note template.
On the session note tab, if a session note is in draft form, the user will see a blue DRAFT label.
Good to Know:
The system will apply the auto-save only when the user takes action on any of the fields in the session note template within any 5-minute period.
When returning to the session note at a later time, the system will display “Last Saved”, since the user would have to tell the system to save any changes when they are finished working on the session note. Users can manually save their changes in two ways:
Choose the Save option. The note will be saved to the client file cabinet.
Choose to save work when prompted if “cancel” option. If user did not choose not choose to save edits previously THEN the system will provide a prompt requesting they save their work.
2. Auto Save session note drafts are not automatically saved to the client file cabinet. Users must select
SAVE, when they are ready to save the note to the client file cabinet. (the system relies on the user to decide when it is time to make the note an official part of the client record in the file cabinet)
Refined SAVE note functionality
By default, when users are in edit mode of a session note that has been previously submitted, the SAVE option will not be visible.
When the user takes action on the form THEN the SAVE option will be visible
Good to Know: Users are not currently able to manually save session note drafts on the mobile browser. This is a feature that will be considered for future enhancements.
