Customize Targets for a Lesson

Step-by-step guide

Let's get started...

  1. Select or match lessons to IEP goals or areas of need for your student.
  2. Add lessons to your students Learning Plan from Lesson Library.
  3. Go to your students Learning Plan and start to customize all targets for goals and objectives.

When customizing targets for a lesson, some students may need to learn one target at a time where other students may need to learn multiple targets at the same time. Rethink is set up for this flexibility and allows you to individualize each lesson for your students. The targets allow us to break down the skill for the student. To customize this information, simply click the Edit button, Scroll down to Data Setting and Targets, and locate the Targets.

Here’s one example, one student may be taught 1 target at a time for one objective: target 1: eating, target 2: jumping, target 3: swimming. Another student may need to be taught 3 targets at a time: target 1: eating, jumping, swimming, target 2: waving, sleeping, kicking; target 3: running, throwing, and sitting

To customize this information, follow these simple steps:

  1. Simply click the Edit Lesson Button
  2. Scroll down to Data Setting and Targets
  3. Locate the Targets
  4. Click Add Target +
