Interval Data Collection Type | Calculation/Functionality with Syncing |
---|
Partial Interval | Recorded data/ skill or behavior occurred - Interval is scored as a yes, data is saved. No occurrence of behavior (no) - Interval is scored as a no, data is saved. If a user uses the starts/resets option for partial interval in the middle of an interval and the skill/behavior occurred (user pressed occurred), the specific interval data will be included in the final calculation when syncing. Interval is scored as a yes for that interval. User has not pressed occurred and reset/stops timer, the interval will be discarded since there was not an occurrence and the duration of the interval was not complete.
|
Whole Interval | Recorded data/ the skill or behavior occurred - Interval is scored as a yes, data saved. No occurrence of the behavior - Interval is scored as a no, data saved. If a user uses the presses the start/reset with whole interval data collection in the middle of an interval and data has been recorded, the specific interval data will be discarded in the final calculation when syncing. Start/reset - if the whole interval is turned on and then user starts the interval timer, it will simultaneously score the interval as a yes.
|
Momentary Time Sample | Recorded data/ the skill or behavior occurred - Interval is scored as a yes, data is saved. No occurrence of behavior (no) - Interval is scored as a no, data is saved. If a user uses the start/resets an interval in the middle of an interval and data has been recorded, the specific interval data will be discarded in the final calculation when syncing. If a user uses the start/reset to take multiple MTS throughout a session - time samples, all time samples will be calculated as one data point when syncing the data ( ex. 3 x 10 minute time samples: 1- yes, 2 - yes, 3- no).
