Group Score Report

User Story:

As an admin user in Florida, I want to view the Life Skills and Wellness Assessment Group Score Report so that I can evaluate the assessment results by district, region, building, or classroom.

UI:

  • User will click: Program Tools > Assessments > View Report Life Skills and Wellness Assessment

  • User will view the Life Skills and Wellness Report

  • Wellness and Life Skills will replace Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)

    • Titles

    • Dropdown heading titles for one or two selected assessments to view

  • Resilience section will be added to the bottom right corner.

    • Title: Resilience

    • Description (will be provided by ERB)

    • Graphic display for scores

  • User can click Rethink Lesson Areas to view a pop-up with the Rethink Lesson Areas for the category.

Acceptance Criteria:

  • Navigation Path: Program Tools > Assessments > Life Skills and Wellness Assessment

  • Given the user wants to assign the assessment by district, grade, building, classroom or student, they will click Assign.

  • Given the user wants to view an assessment report by district, region, building, or classroom, they will click view report to select their view.

  • Given the user is in Florida, Life Skills and Wellness will replace Social Emotional Learning (SEL)

    • Heading titles

    • Dropdown selection heading titles

    • Body paragraphs (How to user these reports and Total Score)

  • Given the user is not in Florida, they will not see the assessment title Life Skills and Wellness Assessment.

  • No questions will be added to the assessment; the assessment will stay 45 questions.

  • We will be adding a 6th casel/subscore category titled Resilience in the Group Score Report, Group Item Analysis Report, and Group Roster Report.

  • Given the user is located outside of Florida, they will not see the Resilience casel/subscore category.

  • ERB will provide which assessment questions will correspond to the Resilience category.

    • Resilience subscore category is represented by 4-5 resilience standards. ERB will provide the standards.

  • Once the assessment questions with the Resilience category are received, the RethinkEd Domain and Rethink Area will need to be assessed and updated as necessary.

  • Graph labels will be the season and year (See image: Group Score Report)

  • Given I am a user who wants to understand the Group Score Report, I will view the assessment key.

  • The assessment key will show the number on the Group Report Scaled Score (0-4) and the category for that number.

    • 0 : Very Low

    • 1 : Low

    • 2 : Average

    • 3 : High

    • 4 : Very High

  • ERB will provide Raw Score combination of items to a Scaled Score (RS > SS file)

  • ERB will provide Form Planner (Grade Band, Questions, Subscore alginments) that include Resilience.

  • There will be three alignments for each grade band because of the different test forms and surveys for each grand band.

  • Total Score calculation will stay as-is: Each category score is based on a subset of the 45 items.  With the current 5 category scores, each item is counted only once. If we compute the total score as the average of 6 category scores, we’ll be adding extra weight to certain items.

  • Next to “In Partnership with” at the top of the screen, we will add the ERB logo.

Group Item Analysis Report

User Story

As an admin user in Florida, I want to view the Life Skills and Wellness Assessment Group Item Analysis Report so that I can evaluate the assessment results by district, region, building, or classroom.

UI

  • User will click Group Item Analysis Report tab on the Life Skills and Wellness Assessment screen.

  • Life Skills and Wellness will replace Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)

    • Heading Titles

    • Dropdown heading titles for one or two selected assessments to view

  • Resilience will be added to the subscore column for certain questions.

Acceptance Criteria

  • Given the user is in Florida, Life Skills and Wellness will replace Social Emotional Learning (SEL)

    • Heading titles

    • Dropdown selection heading titles

    • Body paragraphs (How to use these reports and Total Score)

  • Resilience will be added to the subscore column.

  • Given the user is viewing the subscore column and a question is categorized as Resilience, they will see the original subscore with a comma followed by the word Resilience (See image: Group Item Analysis Report)

  • ERB will provide which questions will have the Resilience subscore added.

  • Next to “In Partnership with” at the top of the screen, we will add the ERB logo.

Group Roster Report

User Story

As an admin user in Florida, I want to view the Classroom Wellness and Life Skills Assessment Group Roster Report so that I can evaluate the assessment results of the students in the classroom.

UI

  • The user clicks Group Roster Report on the Life Skills and Wellness Assessment screen.

  • The user views the student total score and individual score for each subscore category.

  • Resilience is added as a subscore category.

Acceptance Criteria

  • Given the user is in Florida, Life Skills and Wellness will replace Social Emotional Learning (SEL)

    • Heading titles

    • Dropdown selection heading titles

    • Body paragraphs (How to use these reports and Total Score)

  • Resilience will be added to the list of scores. (See image: Group Roster Report)

  • Given the user is viewing the assessment results of a classroom, they will be able to access the Group Roster Report.

  • Next to “In Partnership with” at the top of the screen, we will add the ERB logo.

Student Score Report

User Story:

  • As a user, I want to view the results for an individual student in a class, so that I can address any targeted needs for the student.

UI:

  • Life Skills and Wellness will replace Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)

    • Titles

    • Dropdown heading titles for one or two selected assessments to view

  • Resilience section will be added to the bottom right corner.

    • Title: Resilience

    • Description (will be provided by ERB)

    • Graphic display for scores

  • User can click Rethink Lesson Areas to view a pop-up with the Rethink Lesson Areas for the category.

Acceptance Criteria:

  • The title of this assessment will now be Life Skills and Wellness Assessment.

  • The SEL student self-assessment will be named Life Skills and Wellness Assessment for Florida users.

  • Given the user clicks the filter to select one or two assessments to view, the filters will now be titled Life Skills and Wellness (Fall or Spring) (Year).

  • We will add Resilience to the description in the Total Score list.

  • In the Total Score description, Life Skills and Wellness will replace Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) for Florida users.

  • Given the district and school are located in Florida, a Resilience section will be added to the Life Skills and Wellness Assessment Student Score Report.

  • The Resilience section will be added to the bottom right corner of the report.

  • ERB will provide a description of Resilience for the Student Score Report.

  • We will follow the current logic for displaying data information.

  • Given a user clicks Rethink Lesson Areas, they will see the pop up that shows the Rethink Lesson Areas (This feature is in the Group Reports)

  • Next to “In Partnership with” at the top of the screen, we will add the ERB logo.

Admin Report

User Story:

  • As an admin user in Florida, I want to be able to filter the Life Skills and Wellness Assessment information so that I can see data involving one to two assessments and I can better understand the differences in the data.

UI:

  • The user will click Assessment in the navigation side bar menu.

  • The default view is the Student Self-Assessment tab.

  • The user clicks All Grades to select a specific grade level from the drop down menu.

  • The user clicks up to two student self-assessments to view in the graph from the drop down menu.

  • The user clicks Total Score to select view by Total Score or a specific subscore category.

  • Resilience is added to the drop down menu.

  • The user clicks List to view by Students Assessed and Students Not Assessed.

  • The default view will be Students Assessed.

  • The user clicks the carrot next to the student name and assessment information to view the scores.

  • Resilience subscore will be added to the Assessment score charts.

  • The user clicks Students Not Assessed in the dropdown to view students not assessed by the Life Skills and Wellness Assessment.

Acceptance Criteria:

  • Classroom Rating Scale will be turned off for Florida Life Skills and Wellness product.

  • Life Skills and Wellness Assessment will replace SEL Assessment in the navigation menu.

  • Given I am an admin user in Florida, I will not see the Classroom Rating Scale tab in the Admin Reports for Life Skills and Wellness.

  • Given I am an admin user in Florida, I will only see the Student Self-Assessment tab and the List tab in the Admin Reports for Life Skills and Wellness.

Student Self-Assessment Tab

  • We will add Resilience to the Total Score and Subscore dropdown menu selection.

  • The Total Score and Subscore dropdown menu is single select.

  • The Grade is a single-select dropdown menu.

List Tab

  • Given I am an admin user in Florida viewing the List tab, I will only see Students Assessed and Students Not Assessed for the Life Skills and Wellness Assessment.

  • Given I am an admin user in Florida viewing the List tab, I will not see the drop down menu to select an assessment type.
