and then Manage Points

  • Users with permission to Manage Data/Points (Behavior Support) will see this button.

Select a student

Design

  • Once users select, Manage Points, the user will need to select whether they would like to spend points for a student, group of students, or the whole class

  • If the user selects one student, they will see the pic of that student and the current point balance

Business Rules

  • Users can either select a student, multiple students, or select whole class

  • Once the students check a student, the select whole class option is inactive

    • Date will show the date a behavior was recorded

    • Action will show the name of the behavior recorded on that date

    • Points will show the number of points earned for the behavior on that date

    • Balance will show the updated balance once the behavior was saved/points were earned.

  • Points Spent

    • Date will show the date the points were spent

    • Action will show the phrase “Points Spent.” If a note was added for points spent, we will also display the note below the phase “Points Spent”

    • Points will show the number of points spent

    • Balance will show the updated balance after the points were spent

  • We will list the transactions by date, with most recent transaction at the top.

  • Each time the user clicks “load more,” an additional 15 transactions will load.

  • The load more button will not show if there are no additional transactions.

Spend Points

Design

  • The user must add the amount to spend for the spend button to be active

  • The notes area is optional

  • Once the users adds an amount more than 0, they can click spend

  • If the user selects yes, they will see the points deducted on the transaction report and from point total

  • The points spent will show with the current date, Points Spent, point value deducted, and the new balance minus the points just spent

  • If a note was entered, the note will show under the phrase “Points Spent”

  • If the user tries to spend money that the student does not have, they will see the following error message:

  • Each time points are earned or spent, the current point balance at the top of the screen will update

Business Rules

  • Points spent must be entered as a positive whole number greater than 0
