There is now the option on the Diagnostic Symptoms Criteria page to respond with a Not Applicable option for Repetitive & Restricted Behaviors, Communication, Reinforcer Effectiveness, Social and Sensory.

This option is available when completing an initial assessment

and a Service Re-Authorizaiton Assessment

Assessment Results Page

Not Applicable will receive a score of 0 when calculating the final recommendation.

When responding with Not Applicable instead of the original responses, this will have an impact on the final assessment results since Not Applicable has a score of 0. The other options have a score of 3, 6, and 8.

• A partially completed assessment without the Diagnostic Symptoms Considerations Page completed.

• A partially completed assessment with some of the Diagnostic Symptoms Considerations Page completed.

• A new Initial or Service Re-Authorization Assessment

1. A completed and submitted assessment completed prior to 10/22/2022. This assessment is able to be viewed but not edited,. Not Applicable will not be an option with this scenario since it was not available when it was completed.
