When collecting Interval data for skills and behaviors on the mobile app, you have the option to start and reset an interval timer one or multiple times during a session before syncing your data. This also comes with a default setting in the settings tab for skills and behaviors. The default will be set to have all timers turned on but can be changed across all skills or behaviors.

When using any two settings to select:

  • Default placement of timer

  • Auditory chime

Interval Placement: Users can choose to begin the interval timer in the start or stop position once a program is opened for data collection. If users select the STOP position, a green play button would need to be pressed once the user wants the interval to begin. If it begins in the START position the interval will begin once a program is opened for data collection. This is an option for both skills and behaviors.

Auditory Chime: Users can select whether or not they want an auditory chime to occur on their device at the end of a skills and/or behavior interval.

Additional note: With interval data collection (Partial Interval, Whole Interval, Momentary Time Sample) for skills and behavior programs, you can start/stop the interval timer one or more times during the sessions.

To start the interval timer because it began in the stop position as a setting, press the green start button. To reset/stop the timer, press the reset button

When collecting Momentary Time Sample data for skills and behaviors, you have the option to change the default response to intervals without data entered. When you receive the notification that the interval has ended, and no response is entered you have the option to have those intervals automatically scored as Y (Yes, the behavior occurred), N (No, the behavior did not occur), or C (Cancel/discard the interval). The default will be set to C (Cancel/discard the interval), but can be changed in the settings tab or at the individual program level for both skills and behaviors.

If you change the default to SHOWpercentage input field for opportunity based programs, you will have see both the opportunity fields and the percentage input field for data entry.
