Legacy Skills
Question: How important are the System Targets for Legacy Skills in the Academic areas of ELA and Math?
Background Information: Legacy Skills has common core standards for ELA and Math up to grade 4. When selected, the user is given the option to include System Targets. Although the Goal and Intervention Bank gives all grades k-12, no System Targets are provided. In addition, the User cannot select off grade level goals. A possible work-around is the Custom Goal. However, the User would need to know what they want to create for a custom goal which could feel like lost functionally.
Brainstorming: Allow Academic areas for Legacy Skills to become part of the Goal and Intervention Bank and have them in some way marked so users can retain the System Targets and the ability to use them in multiple grade levels.
More information is needed about the most up-to-date version of Intervention Plans.

Question: What should the “Goal Zone” page include? How does it impact the Intervention Plan Page?
Background Information: Goal Zone is meant as a Classroom Report for any goals that have been created. From a Special Education standpoint, categories of goals are:
IEP
GIEP (need to be able to access content higher than grade level: IP issues with only grade level content?)
504
and what else?
just tracking a goal? ability to change the categories, especially if there is a need to elevate to an IP or even an a preliminary data documentation trail leading to an IEP or 504?
An important note is that some students with IEPs take the screener so their test scores are part of the Tier system: Tier Notices/Recommendations/At risk and Approaching Indicators / Intervention Plans. Other students with IEP may not take the screener so they are currently collected as “No Data” within MTSS.

Question:
Is placing Legacy Skills Activities into Vizzle a viable solution for the short and long term and will it be easy to find the activities desired?
How will the timeline to complete this project and the merge between EDU and Vizzle impact the availability of Activities for Legacy Skills customers?
Background information: Vizzle team has looked through Legacy Skills, taken items and placed them into a “Resources” section.
Action Item: Need to find out what was taken and where it was placed. Is it only Activities or is it also part of other libraries such as Abilities or Academics?
Intervention Plans Tracking Functionality (Gen Ed/Some IEP)
Question:
What are we able to track within the newest version of Intervention Plans?
Will Intervention Plans get any additional libraries from Legacy Skills such as Inclusion?
Will General Education have goal tracking using Legacy Skills libraries such as Inclusion?
Background Information: Items on this list look very PBIS and could be goals for all students.
