We need to analyze positive and negative behaviors tracked by demographic information.


General Info

Design

  • Under classroom behaviors, we will show a pill tab for Demographics

  • The user will see 3 filter options:

    • First Filter

      • Students

      • Totals

    • Second Filer

      • Positive Behaviors

      • Negative Behaviors

      • Points Earned

    • Third Filter

      • By Grade

      • By Gender

      • By Race/Ethnicity

      • By Education Classification

Business Rules

  • Only 1 selection from each filter can be made at a time

  • We will default to Students, Positive Behaviors, By Grade


Students Positive Behavior by Grade

Design

  • The user will see a bar graph with a bar for each grade

  • The X axis will be labeled by grade

  • The y axis will be labeled by # of students

  • Each bar will represent the number of unique students with positive behavior tracked for a given grade

  • On hover, we will show the number of students with positive behavior tracked

Business Rules

  • District.

    • The bar will reflect the total number of students with positive behaviors per grade within the date range for all students in all buildings the user currently has access to.

    • On hover, we will show the total number of students with positive behavior per grade within the date range for all students in all buildings the user currently has access to.

    • EI will show if the district has any students currently in Early Intervention.

    • NA will show if the district has any students currently with the grade NA

  • Region

    • We will show a tab for each region selected

    • The red bar will reflect the total number of negative behaviors per grade within the date range for all students in all buildings the user currently has access to within the selected region.

    • The green bar will reflect the total number of positive behaviors per grade within the date range for all students in all buildings the user currently has access to within the selected region.

    • On hover, we will also include the total number of students with negative/positive behavior per grade within the date range for all students in all buildings the user currently has access to within the selected region.

  • Building

    • We will show a tab for each building selected

    • The red bar will reflect the total number of negative behaviors per grade within the date range for all students in the selected building.

    • The green bar will reflect the total number of positive behaviors per grade within the date range for all students in the selected building.

    • On hover, we will also include the total number of students with negative/positive behavior per grade within the date range for all students in the selected building.

  • Role

    • We will show a tab for each role selected

    • On hover, we will also include the total number of students assigned to all team members with the selected role with negative/positive behavior per grade within the date range.

  • Team Member

    • We will show a tab for each team member selected

    • The red bar will reflect the total number of negative behaviors per grade within the date range for all students assigned to the selected team member in all buildings the user currently has access to.

    • The green bar will reflect the total number of positive behaviors per grade within the date range for all students assigned to the selected team member in all buildings the user currently has access to.

    • On hover, we will also include the total number of students assigned to the selected team member with negative/positive behavior per grade within the date range for all students in all buildings the user currently has access to.

  • Student

    • We will show all data on one screen. No separate tabs.

    • The red bar will reflect the total number of negative behaviors per grade within the date range for all selected students.

    • The green bar will reflect the total number of positive behaviors per grade within the date range for all selected students.

    • On hover, we will also include the total number of students with negative/positive behavior per grade within the date range for all selected students.

  • The user will see a stacked bar graph with a bar for each grade (PK-12)

  • The X axis will be labeled by grade

  • The y axis will be labeled by # of behaviors

  • The green bar will represent the number of positive behaviors tracked

  • The red bar will represent the number of negative behaviors tracked

  • On hover, we will show the number of positive/negative behaviors tracked and the number of students with positive/negative behavior

  • The red bar will represent the number of negative behaviors tracked

  • On hover, we will show the number of positive/negative behaviors tracked and the number of students with positive/negative behavior

Print

Design

  • When the user clicks the print button, we will open a PDF of the graph

  • We will print the graph in landscape

  • The graph should fill the page

  • The Rethink logo will show at the top

  • We will show a title of Classroom Behavior Demographic Report from INSERT FILTER START DATE to INSERT FILTER END DATE

  • We will show a sub-title listing the filter selections (i.e. Region A)

Business Rules

  • We will print the graph based on selections. Meaning, if we have selected a region report and selected Grade, this is the report we will print.


Export

Design

  • When the user clicks the export button, we will export an excel doc with 2 sheets

  • The first sheet will be labeled Total Behaviors.

  • The second sheet will be labeled Students with Behaviors

  • Each sheet will have a row for positive and a row for negative behaviors, as well as a column for each item on the x axis (i.e. Gender)

Business Rules

  • We will export the data reflected on the report. Meaning, if we are viewing the report for building A, we will export the data for this building.

  • Total behaviors will account for the total number of behaviors recorded

  • Students with behaviors will account for the number of unique students with behaviors recorded.
