We will add an option to complete/view assessments on the Classroom and Group Dashboards. This will allow users to quickly access assessments to assign and view results for an entire group of students.


Classroom/Group Dashboard

Design

  • On the Classroom and Group Dashboard, we will show an option called Complete Assessments.
  • Clicking on this will take the user to the Assessment Summary.

Business Rules

  • This will show if Skills or SEL student licenses have been allocated to at least 1 of the buildings assigned to the classroom/group and if the user has access to Skills or SEL Lessons
  • Users must also have permission to at least 1 of the following:
    • View Classroom reporting for SEL Assessments Group Item Analysis
    • View Classroom reporting for SEL Assessments Group Score Report
    • View Classroom reporting for SEL Assessments Roster Report
    • View Classroom reporting for SEL Assessments Student Report
    • Assign SEL Assessments
    • Apply VB MAPP license to Client
    • Rethink Assessment - Edit
    • Rethink Assessment - View

Assessment Summary

Design

  • We will show a box for each assessment with a description and # of students who have a completed assessment our of the number of student eligible for the assessment in the classroom
  • We will also show a scale representing the number of students with a complete assessment, an in progress assessment, or a not started assessment. When the user hovers on one of these bars, a pop-up will show the number of students for that category (i.e. Not Started 4 students)
  • For the Rating Scale, we will either show Get Started or Last Completion Date instead of # of students completed

Business Rules

  • The assessments will display based on permission settings and products allocated (see below)
  • Number of Students Completed
    • We will show the number of students who have a completed assessment (regardless of when assessment was completed) out of the number of students in the classroom/group.
    • What if there are 15 students in a classroom, but 5 of those students are under that age of 9 and grade of 3 so are ineligible for Transition Assessment and SEL self-assessment? Do we still show _/15 Students Complete OR do we show _/10 Students Complete?
    • Let's suppose a classroom is comprised of 2 buildings. We have 10 Students from Building A and 5 Students from Building B. Building A has been allocated Skills and SEL. Building B has been allocated SEL only. For Abilities, Inclusion, Transition assessments do we show _/15 Students Complete OR do we show _/10 Students Complete?
  • Complete Assessments will show the number of students with a completed assessment.
  • In Progress will show the number of students with an assessment that has started, but has not been completed yet
  • Not Started will show the number of students who have an assessment that has not yet begun
  • Rating Scale
    • If the assessment has never been completed for the classroom, we will show Get Started
    • If the assessment has been completed for the classroom, we will show the date the assessment was last completed.
Abilities, Inclusion, & Transition Assessments

Design

  • Clicking on Abilities, Inclusion, or Transition takes the user to a summary page for that assessment. Here we will list each student in the classroom/group and the actions a user can take for each assessment.
  • If the assessment has never been completed for a student, we will show the status as Get Started. If the user clicks this text, they will be directed to the Abilities/Inclusion/Transition Assessment for that student.The date will show as N/A.
  • If the assessment has been started, but not completed for a student, we will show the action as Resume. If the user clicks this text, they will be directed to the Abilities/Inclusion/Transition Assessment in Progress for that student. The date will show as N/A.
  • If the assessment has been completed for a student, we will show the date the assessment was last completed for the student. Clicking on the word Review/Update will take the user to the completed Abilities/Inclusion/Transition Assessment for that student. The user may view or update the assessment.

Business Rules

  • This assessment will show if Student Licenses for Skills are allocated to at least 1 of the buildings assigned to the classroom/group and if the user has access to Skills Lessons.
  • If the classroom/group is comprised of more than 1 building and all buildings assigned do not have skills student licenses allocated, we will show the text Not Available for students belonging to buildings with no Skills Student Licenses.
  • If the student is under the age of 9, we will show Not Available for the Transition Assessment
  • Get Started
    • If the user has permission to Edit the Rethink Assessment, they may click Get Started and complete the Assessment.
    • We will check against licenses. Meaning, if a user clicks Get Started but the account is out of Skills licenses, we will see a message stating "It looks like you do not have enough licenses to utilize this feature for this student. Please contact us at support@rethinked.com to purchase additional licenses."
    • If the user has permission to View the Rethink Assessment but does not have access to Edit the Rethink Assessment, they will see a message stating "You do not have permission to complete the assessment. Please contact your account administrator."
  • Resume
    • If the user has permission to Edit the Rethink Assessment, they may click Resume and complete the Assessment.
    • If the user has permission to View the Rethink Assessment but does not have access to Edit the Rethink Assessment, they will see a message stating "You do not have permission to complete the assessment. Please contact your account administrator."
  • Review/Update
    • If the user has permission to Edit the Rethink Assessment, they may click the word Review/Update and view or update the Assessment.
      • If the user has permission to View the Rethink Assessment but does not have access to Edit the Rethink Assessment, they may click the word review/update to view the completed assessment. They will not be able to update the assessment.

VB-MAPP Assessment

Design

  • Clicking on the VB-MAPP box takes the user to the summary page for VB-MAPP Assessments. Here we will list each student in the classroom/group and the actions available for the assessment (Get Started, Resume, Review/Update).


  • If the assessment has never been completed for a student, we will show the action as Get Started. If the user clicks this text, they will see a pop-up asking if they wish to apply the license.

  • Clicking yes will take the user to the new VB-MAPP Assessment for that student.
  • If the assessment has been started, but not completed for a student, we will show the action as Resume. If the user clicks this text, they will be directed to the VB-MAPP Assessment in Progress for that student.
  • If the assessment has been completed for a student, we will show the date the assessment was last completed for the student. Clicking on the word Review/Update will take the user to the VB-MAPP Assessment Summary for that student. The user may view the assessment or create a new assessment.

Business Rules

  • This assessment will show if Student Licenses for VB-MAPP are allocated to at least 1 of the buildings assigned to the classroom/group and if the user has access to Skills Lessons.
  • If the classroom/group is comprised of more than 1 building and all buildings assigned do not have VB-MAPP licenses allocated, we will show the text Not Available for students belonging to buildings with no VB-MAPP Licenses.
  • Get Started
    • If the user has permission to Apply VB-MAPP License to Client, they may click Get Started and complete the Assessment.
    • We will check against licenses. Meaning, if a user clicks Get Started but the account is out of VB-MAPP licenses, we will see a message stating "It looks like you do not have enough licenses to utilize this feature for this student. Please contact us at support@rethinked.com to purchase additional licenses."
    • If the user does not have permission to Apply VB-MAPP License to client, they will see a message stating "You do not have permission to assign the assessment. Please contact your account administrator."
  • Resume
    • If the user has permission to Edit the Rethink Assessment, they may click Resume and complete the Assessment.
    • If the user has permission to View the Rethink Assessment but does not have access to Edit the Rethink Assessment, they will see a message stating "You do not have permission to complete the assessment. Please contact your account administrator."
  • Review/Update
    • If the user has permission to Edit the Rethink Assessment, they may click the word Review/Update and view or create a new assessment.
    • If the user has permission to View the Rethink Assessment but does not have access to Edit the Rethink Assessment, they may click the word Review/Update and view the completed assessment. They will not be able to create a new assessment.

SEL Student Self-Assessment

Design

  • Clicking on the SEL Student Self-Assessment box takes the user to the summary page for SEL Student Self-Assessments. Here we will list each student in the classroom/group and the available actions for the assessment.
  • If the assessment has never been assigned to a student, we will show the text Assign. If the user clicks this text, the assessment will be assigned to the student.
  • If the assessment has been assigned but has not been started, we will show the text Waiting on Student. This text is not clickable.
  • If the assessment has been completed by a student, we will show the date the assessment was last completed for the student. Clicking on the word Review will take the user to the SEL Student Self-Assessment Student Report.
  • Clicking on View Classroom Report will prompt the user to select a grade. Once the user selects a grade, they will be taken to the SEL Classroom Report.
  • Clicking on Assign to All Students will assign the most recent version of the assessment to all students in the classroom.

Business Rules

  • This assessment will show if Student Licenses for SEL are allocated to at least 1 of the buildings assigned to the classroom/group and if the user has access to SEL Lessons.
  • If the classroom/group is comprised of more than 1 building and all buildings assigned do not have SEL Student licenses allocated, we will show the text Not Available for students belonging to buildings with no SEL Student Licenses.
  • Assign
    • If the user has permission to Assign SEL Assessments, they will be able to click this button and assign the assessment to the student.
    • We will check against licenses. Meaning, if a user clicks Get Started but the account is out of SEL Student licenses, we will see a message stating "It looks like you do not have enough licenses to utilize this feature for this student. Please contact us at support@rethinked.com to purchase additional licenses."
    • If the user does not have permission to Assign SEL Assessments, they will see a message stating "You do not have permission to complete the assessment. Please contact your account administrator."
  • Waiting on Student
    • This status will show if the student has been assigned the SEL Student Self-Assessment but has not yet completed the assessment.
  • Date of Completion
    • If the user has permission to View Classroom reporting for SEL Assessments Student Report, they will be able to click this button and assign the assessment to the student.
    • If the user does not have permission to View Classroom reporting for SEL Assessments Student Report, they will see a message stating "You do not have permission to view the assessment. Please contact your account administrator."
  • Assign to All
    • If the user has permission to Assign SEL Assessments, they will be able to click this button and assign the assessment to the student.
    • We will check against licenses. Meaning, if a user clicks Get Started but the account is out of SEL Student licenses, we will see a message stating "It looks like you do not have enough licenses to utilize this feature for this student. Please contact us at support@rethinked.com to purchase additional licenses."
    • If the user does not have permission to Assign SEL Assessments, they will see a message stating "You do not have permission to complete the assessment. Please contact your account administrator."
  • Classroom Report
    • If the user has permission to View Classroom reporting for SEL Assessments Group Item Analysis, they will be able to click this button and view the Classroom SEL Report.
    • If the user does not have permission to View Classroom reporting for SEL Assessments Group Item Analysis Report, they will see a message stating "You do not have permission to view the group report. Please contact your account administrator."

SEL Classroom Rating Scale

Design

  • Clicking on the SEL Classroom Rating Scale box takes the user to the summary page for SEL Classroom Rating Scale page for that classroom.

Business Rules

  • This assessment will show if Student Licenses for SEL are allocated to at least 1 of the buildings assigned to the classroom/group and if the user has access to SEL Lessons.
  • If the classroom/group is comprised of more than 1 building and all buildings assigned do not have SEL Student licenses allocated, only those students belonging to buildings with SEL Student Licenses will show in the rating scale.
