1.1.3.1 Update Student Dashboard | Behavior Plans | Behavior Suite

We need to update the Student Dashboard to reflect the addition of Behavior plans in the Tier 3 Level.

 

User Stories:

  • As a teacher who has a tier 3 student with a Behavior Plan, I need to view the current Behavior Plan so that I can have the necessary information to communicate with colleagues and parents about the student’s progress towards their goals.

  • As a teacher who has a tier 3 student with a Behavior Plan that is due to be reviewed, I need to see the current Behavior Plan and be able collaborate with colleagues on updates we will include for revisions to the plan.

  • As a teacher who has a tier 3 student in need of a customized Behavior Plan, I need a template that provides structure and flexibility so that I can create a Behavior Plan that meets my student’s unique needs.

 

Acceptance Criteria:

  • Given I am a user with access to MTSS interventions (all tools or Behavior Plans and Behavior Tracking enabled), I will see the the Behavior Plans block with View Plans button and be able to view behavior plans.

  • Given I am a User with access to MTSS interventions (all tools or Behavior Plans and Behavior Tracking enabled) and permission to Behavior support, >Edit Reports I will see Behavior Plans card containing Create Plan button.

Section 1: Student Dashboard

UI:

  • Tier 3 Student Dashboard contains Behavior Plans card.

 

 

Business Rules:

  • Users with access to MTSS Interventions (all tools or Behavior Plans and Behavior Tracking enabled) will see Behavior Plans Card containing View Behavior Plans button.

  • Users with access to MTSS Interventions (all tools or Behavior Plans and Behavior Tracking enabled) and who have permission to Behavior Support → Edit Reports will see the Create Plans plans button on the Behavior Plans card.

Paraprofessionals

  • Given I am a user with access to either Behavior Tracking or MTSS Interventions (all tools or Behavior tracking/Plans enabled) and permission to Data Tracking > Record Behaviors, I will see the record button.

  • Given I am a user with access to either Behavior Tracking or MTSS Interventions (all tools or Behavior tracking/Plans enabled) and permission to Behavior Support > View Behaviors, I will see the View button.

    • Paraprofessionals can view but not edit behavior plans.

 

 

 

 


Section 2: Behavior Plans Card Destinations

UI:

(Behavior Plans Card)
  • To view all Behavior Plans for a particular student, the user clicks on the View Plans button from the Behavior Behavior Plans card for Tier 3.

 

  • User sees Behavior Plans for selected student.

 

 

  • To Create a new Behavior Plan, the User clicks on the Create plan button from the Behavior Plans card for Tier 3.

 

  • User sees Create Behavior Plan screen.

 

 

 

Business Rules:

  • Users with access to MTSS Interventions (all tools or Behavior Plans and Behavior Tracking enabled) and who have permission to Behavior Support → Edit Reports will see the Create Plans plans button on the Behavior Plans card.

  • Users with access to MTSS Interventions (all tools or Behavior Plans and Behavior Tracking enabled) and who have permission to Behavior Support → Edit Reports will see the Create new plan on the student report.

  • View Plans

    • User click on View Plans directs the user to Student Reports.

    • The default landing tab is the Active tab. (See image: Student Report)

  • Create plan

    • User click on Create plan directs the user to the Create plan Step 1 screen. (See Approval Process).

    • Given the user is a paraprofessional (Role 2), they will not see the Create Behavior link on Student Report. (See image: Student Report)

Paraprofessionals

  • Given I am a user with access to either Behavior Tracking or MTSS Interventions (all tools or Behavior tracking/Plans enabled) and permission to Behavior Support > View Behaviors, I will see the View button.

    • Paraprofessionals can view but not edit behavior plans.

  • Given the user is a paraprofessional (Role 2), they will not see the Create Behavior link on the student report.
