Once a staff selects Duration as the method of data collection for a program, they will need to modify the mastery criteria. The mastery criteria will contain 4 components.
Component | Description | Good to Know! | |
---|---|---|---|
1 | “At Least” or “At Most” | At Least will require the behavior to occur for a minimum amount of time to be marked as correct. At Most will require the behavior to occur for less than the maximum amount of time to be marked as correct. |
|
2 | Enter the total amount of time the behavior should occur. | Time can be set up as either seconds, minutes or hours. | This is what will be reflected in the y-axis of the graph. |
3 | Select how often this skill should be tracked. | The skill can be tracked across sessions or days | The selection made for either session or days will automatically populate the same selection in the 4th component. |
4 | Select how long the skill should occur at the set criteria to trigger mastery. | The total number of sessions or days can be indicated. |
|
If a staff chose seconds to track the skill, the y-axis will display seconds when viewing data.
The raw details will also calculate the occurrence of the skill and observation period as seconds if the staff chose seconds for tracking the skill.
