Rethink allows you to collect prompt specific data on opportunity based programs and task analyses. Below is a guide for how to effectively set up a prompt hierarchy.
When editing a skill acquisition program, staff have many options for data collection methods.
If staff choose to use OPPORTUNITY BASED or TASK ANALYSIS data collection, they will have the option to collect data on targets/steps WITH or WITHOUT prompts.
If staff choose to teach the targets/steps within the program WITH PROMPTS, the DEFUALT PROMPT HIERARCHY that was set in the COMPANY ACCOUNT will populate. Staff can leave the prompt hierarchy as-is, or they can edit the prompt hierarchy to make it more specific to the program and the client.

The prompt hierarchy MUST be set up LEAST TO MOST restrictive. That is: The most correct response is at the top-fading to the most incorrect response at the bottom.
Staff can add up to 8 prompts |
Once staff have set up the prompt hierarchy for the program. They will add targets to the program. When targets are added to the program, staff will choose what PROMPT they want counted as a CORRECT RESPONSE.
When choosing a CORRECT PROMPT, staff should be mindful that their chosen correct prompt and all LESS INTRUSIVE prompts will be counted as a correct response towards mastery criteria.
