We need to add Self-Monitoring criteria to the Default Mastery in Account Settings in Account Setup. We need also to include Location settings and the Behavior Bank.

User Stories:

  • As a district employee responsible for updating the settings, I need to be able to include locations commonly used by our staff so that creating self-monitoring for our students will be quicker.

  • As a district employee responsible for updating the settings, I need to include a list of common behaviors so that our staff can set up self-monitoring for our students quicker and easier.

Acceptance Criteria:

  • Given an account has been allocated MTSS Interventions (All Topics or Self-Monitoring enabled) that account will have access to Self-Monitoring

  • Given I am a user with permission to edit Self-Monitoring Settings, I will see the Default Mastery Criteria setting in the settings

  • Given I am a user with permission to edit Self-Monitoring Settings, I will see the Locations Setting in the settings

  • Given I am a user with permission to edit Self-Monitoring settings, I will see the Behavior Bank Setting in the settings

  • The third dropdown will be set to days as the consecutive time

  • The options will be days or sessions.

  • This section will show for users who have access to Skills, MTSS Interventions, or Behavior, and will be the default screen for those users

Section 2: Location Settings

UI:

  • When the user clicks on Locations, they will see the new Self-Monitoring options for Locations.

  • Save and discard changes will work as it currently does

  • To remove a location, user clicks on X next to location.

  • To add a new field, user clicks on +Add custom location or activity.

Business Rules:

  • There is no limit to the number of locations a user may enter.

  • The default locations settings and custom entries made by the user in the set-up are the contents of the locations drop down used in self monitoring. (See example of drop down in Self-Monitoring Create Self-Monitoring Tool for Location).

    • If a user enters a custom location from the Create Self-Monitoring Tool, then the addition becomes part of the drop down menu for that specific student and does not change the custom locations added or edited in the settings.

Section 3: Behavior Bank

UI:

  • When the user clicks on Behavior Bank, they will see the new Self-Monitoring options for Behaviors.

  • Save and discard changes will work as it currently does

Business Rules:

  • The contents of behavior bank fills the behavior drop down selection for Interventions, Behavior Contracts, Self-Monitoring, Data Tracking (Behavior Tracking), and and the new Behavior Plans. (See example of drop down in Self-Monitoring Create Self-Monitoring Tool for Select Behavior).

    • If a user enters a custom behavior from the Create Self-Monitoring Tool, then the addition becomes part of the drop down menu for that specific student and does not change the custom behaviors added or edited in the settings.

  • We will supply a default collection of behaviors and definitions which can be edited by the user.

  • If user with permission to edit settings adds or removes behaviors from the behavior bank, those changes will show in the behavior bank drop down seen by all users of that school/district for the following products: Interventions, Behavior Contracts, Self-monitoring, Data Tracking (Behavior Tracking) and the new Behavior Plans.

  • For the products: Interventions, Behavior Contracts and Self-monitoring, the definitions text entry is given for the default collection but not required as custom entry by the user.

  • For the products: Data Tracking (Behavior Tracking), and the new Behavior Plans the definition text entry is given for the default collections and is a required field for custom entries by the user.
