titleHow do I render Telehealth/ Telemedicine Visits as part of EVV?

You will have to setup add Modifiers in Company Account > Funders [Medicaid] > Service > Modifiers. The GT or TS modifier must be used to identify the visit as Telemedicine. While scheduling a telehealth appointment, please select the Service with the applicable Telehealth Modifier.

  • The GT modifier must be used to provide Caregiver training via Telemedicine

  • The TS modifier must be used to provide RBT supervision via Telemedicine. Please note that the TS modifier is not currently supported by the Tellus<>Rethink integration. In order to render visits with TS modifiers, please send the visit to Tellus without the TS modifier. Once the visit reflects in the Tellus Worklist, edit the Visit>Procedure Codes/Mods field and add the TS Modifier.

You will Clock In/Out the appointment as usual and Approve it for EVV. The Telemedicine visit will be sent to Tellus and create an error code in the billing worklist. The biller must clear the error using the Telemedicine reason code 9168 (Telemedicine Visit). Please reference the resource here to learn more about telehealth visits and EVV.

In Company Account > Locations select Type = State License Number and add the Medicaid Id provided for the specific location.

Ensure the clients (recipients) contain the correct location based on the Medicaid Id in the Client Profile > Location/ Facility to route them correctly to Tellus/NetSmart accounts
