New Setting Option! When collecting Interval data for skills and behaviors, you will now have the option to start and reset an interval timer one or multiple times during a session before syncing your data. This also comes with a default setting in the settings tab for skills and behaviors. The default will be set to have all timers turned on but can be changed across all skills or behaviors.

Interval Timer Setting added to the Settings Tab

Once you click on the settings tab of the main menu of the app, you will see a new setting titled, Interval Settings.

Interval Timer Settings will be the first new setting that is shown.

All skill and behavior interval timers will default to start/on since this is the current functionality.

Default changes can be made to have the interval timers adjusted to the reset/stop position. This can be done in the settings tab.

Partial Interval with Skills

When using partial interval data collection with skills with start/reset, you can start/reset the interval timer one or more times during the session.

To start the interval timer, press the green start button. To reset/stop the timer, press the reset button.

With the new start/reset feature, interval data collection has some different scenarios that impact the final calculation of data.

Interval Data Calculations with Start/Reset Option

Syncing

If an interval timer is on and the user attempts to sync, there will not be manual action that the user needs to complete.

Once you press sync and confirm, the app will will automatically stop all interval timers and then continue with the sync process.

Offline mode with start/reset option

Offline mode will be available when using the start/reset option with interval data collection.

  • You will be able to use the start/reset option with interval data collection in offline or online mode.  

  • Once a timer has started, the default interval settings will be locked for that timer.  If you want to change it, the change will be reflected in the next interval.
