Neurodiversity Update| Training Center

We need to update the design of the Neurodiversity modules to include 20 courses with 8 different sections ( see Mindfulness as example of structure). Each course will end with 1 video. There will be no tests or certificates.

User Story

  • As a Rethink employee, I want to set the number of licenses for Neurodiversity PD, so I can limit the number of users for this product

 

UI

  • The updated Neurodiversity PD Series will replace the current Neurodiversity PD component.

  • When a user clicks to add this component to an account, they will need to set the number of licenses for team members.

  • Licenses may be allocated under team members or additional additional team members.

  • When a user adds this component, they will need to set the number of team member licenses.

 

 

 

Acceptance Criteria

  • The number of team member licenses allocated will dictate the number of team members who may access Neurodiversity trainings.

  • We will allocate team member and additional team member licenses only. Profiles and additional profiles will not be allocated here.

  • When Neurodiversity PD is allocated, the selected Behavior topics (domains), areas, and modules will be available on the site.

  • The number of team member licenses determines the number of users who may access Neurodiversity PD.

 

My Training

User Story

  • As a user, I want to access Neurodiversity trainings, so I can learn how to implement these practices in my school.

 

UI

  • In My Training, we will update block titled “Neurodiversity Training Series”.

  • We will show a status bar to show user progress towards completing the 20 courses.

Acceptance Criteria

  • Given I am an admin user with access to Neurodiversity PD, and have clicked on Program Tools → My Training, I will see the Neurodiversity PD series.

  • Given I am an admin user without access to Neurodiversity PD, and have clicked on Program Tools → My Training, I will not see the Neurodiversity PD series.

  • Given I am an educator with access to Neurodiversity PD, and have clicked on My Training from the Home Screen or clicked on the Training tab, I will see the Neurodiversity PD series

  • Given I am an educator WITHOUT access to Neurodiversity PD, and have clicked on My Training from the Home Screen or clicked on the Training tab, I will NOT see the Neurodiversity series

  • Given I have not been unassigned from any module and have completed 1 Neurodiversity training, I will see 1/20 trainings completed

    • Neurodiversity training will have 20 courses

    • We will show a status bar that shows the progress towards completing the course modules.

  • Given I have added a Neurodiversity training to my training plan, I will see that training listed under My Training Plan

  • Description will show: Designed to promote an inclusive environment for individuals who are neurodiverse and provide strategies to support their success at the workplace.

  • As a user, I want to know which trainings I have already viewed, so I can keep track of what I’ve already completed.

Main Training Display

  • The user will see a series of filter drop down menus on the left. The first menu (CATEGORY) will contain:

    • All Employees

    • Leadership

    • Managers

    • Colleagues

    • Neurodiverse Employees

  • If the user selects CATEGORY → All Employees, they will see a second filter drop down menu for TOPIC:

    • Understanding Neurodiversity

    • Workplace belonging

    • Collaborating and Teamwork

 

  • If the user selects CATEGORY → Leadership, they will see a second filter drop down menu for TOPIC:

    • Building an Inclusive Workplace

    • Expanding the Talent Pipeline

  • If the user selects CATEGORY → Managers, they will see a second filter drop down menu for TOPIC:

  • If the user selects CATEGORY → Neurodiverse Employees, they will see a second filter drop down menu for TOPIC:

    • Diving into Team Dynamics and Messaging in the Workplace

    • Tools for Navigating your Workplace

    • Supporting Executive Functions

    • Communicating in the Workplace

 

  • When the user clicks to select a category/topic, the related trainings will appear on the main display

  • The user will see a column for topic session names, a button to view training, and status column.

  • Clicking on view training button will open a pop-up window for the video/audio.

  • If the user has not completed a training, the status will be “Not Completed”.

  • If the user has completed a training, the status will be “Complete” with a checkmark in a blue circle.

 

Acceptance Criteria

 

  • Only the highest role admin will be able to “Assign” a training.

  • Non-admin users will only see and be able to “Add to training plan”.

  • Given I have clicked on the Neurodiversity series, I will see all trainings I am assigned to complete.

    • The category drop down menu will default to the first in the content list: All Employees

    • The topic drop down menu will default to the “Understanding Neurodiversity” selection, which will show the first course included in the category listed under the topics.

    • When the user selects a category/topic, the related trainings for the course will appear on the main display

  • Each topic will have a unique description describing the topic for the course/category.

  • There will not be any “All Topics” or “All Areas” for the topics because they must be viewed with the title heading, description, and topic sessions for the specific categories.

  • Given I want to learn more about a category/topic, I will click the blue View Training button to begin the video/audio file for the training.

    • Given I am a user who clicks the View Training button, a pop-up will open with the training video/audio to play.

  • There will be no test for the Neurodiversity series.

  • There will be no certificates awarded for the Neurodiversity series.

  • Given I have started a training video but have not completed it entirely, I will see “Not completed” under the status column.

  • Given I have not started a training video, I will see “Not completed” under the status column.

  • Given I have completed viewing a training, I will see the “Completed” message with a checkmark in a circle under the Status column next to the training row.

  • List Neurodiversity modules/topics in order provided on spreadsheet

  • Only topics allocated in jrich will show

Admin Graph and Reports

User Story

  • As an admin, I want to know how many staff are accessing the Neurodiversity Series and which courses are being completed, so that I can ensure the trainings are being used.

Overview Admin Graph

  • A new line will be added to the graph and with the label of Behavior Series.

  • When the user hovers on a data point, it will reveal the number of unique users who accessed Behavior Series training content within the date range.

  • Neurodiversity Series is still a selection option the drop down list for all series.

  • Neurodiversity Series is included in the All Series selection option.

Results

  • Neurodiversity Series is in the selection drop-down menu

  • When the user selects Neurodiversity Series, they will see the courses/modules completed for the Neurodiversity Series.

  • We will provide a second filter to display only All Domains (categories) or one domain at a time

 

Activities:

  • Neurodiversity Series is a selection option in the drop-down menu.

Overview Admin Graph

  • Training will show if the district or any of the regions/buildings selected have been allocated Neurodiversity Series Professional Development

  • All users who viewed a Neurodiversity Series PD screen or watched the topic session videos will be in the total count.

  • Unique Users will include the number of unique team members who accessed Neurodiversity Series PD courses (videos/audio) within the date range.

 

Graph

  • Neurodiversity will show as an option for users in accounts where Neurodiversity Series Professional Development has been allocated

  • The number of unique users who viewed or accessed Neurodiversity Series will be counted in the total.

  • Clicking on Neurodiversity Series will display the number of unique users who have accessed Neurodiversity Series

  • Given the user selects Building in the top left corner, then they will see the selected building displayed on the graph and the name of the building in the key.

  • Given the user hovers on the data point, then it will display the number of unique team members accessing training activities (i.e. 48 Unique Team Members)

  • Video and HTML5 files will count as a training video

 

Results:

  • Given the user selects Neurodiversity Series from the filter drop down menu, then they will see the results for the Neurodiversity Series.

  • We will default to All Domains

  • The Domain dropdown menu selection is:

    • All Domains

    • All Employees

    • Leadership

    • Managers

    • Colleagues

    • Neurodiverse Employees

  • We will only show domains and topics allocated

  • The Neurodiversity Series results will be included in the All Domains results.

  • The key will be organized by the four domains

    • All Employees

    • Leadership

    • Managers

    • Colleagues

    • Neurodiverse Employees

  • The module names for each domain will be listed below the domain name title in the key.

  • The key can be collapsed/expanded

  • There will not be any score percentages because there are no tests.

  • When a user has completed the training(s), it will be green with a white C in the middle.

  • Given a user has not completed a training, the box will stay white (empty).

 

Activities:

  • Training will show if the user has access to Neurodiversity Series.

  • Training Videos watched will include the number of Neurodiversity Series video/HTML5 files accessed

  • Modules Completed will include the number of trainings completed.

  • Modules Started will include the number of trainings (topic session videos) started but not completed (i.e. started video but did not complete)

  • Modules Not Started will include the number of trainings that have not been accessed by users

 

Unique Users:

  • There are no changes to this section.

  • When the user selects Neurodiversity Series, they will see a report detailing:

    • The number of users with trainings available

    • The number of users with training videos watched

    • The number of users who completed the series

    • The number of users who started but did not complete the series

    • The number of users who have not started the Neurodiversity Series

 

List View:

  • Training will show if the user has access to Neurodiversity Series.

  • Given a user has accessed Neurodiversity Series, their name will show in the utilized list.

    • There is a column for the total number of training activities utilized.

    • There are columns for the number of activities utilized in each specific training series.

  • The default view to users will be Utilized → All Series.

  • The default filter of All Series will include:

    • Member Name

    • Total amount of activities utilized

    • Name of training and the activities utilized in each one

  • Given the user selects a specific training, such as Neurodiversity series, then they will see:

    • Member name

    • All training activities total

    • The selected training activities total

    • Date of last activity for the training

  • If a user has not accessed Neurodiversity Series PD or any other PD series, they will show on the not utilized list.
