User Story

As a user, I need to upload resources so that the RethinkEd users have more context about the Focus Area.

UI Description

  1. Resource Uploader:

    • Description: Allows the user to select a resource from their computer to upload to the Focus Area card.

    • Required: No

    • Type of Resources:

      • Videos (.mp4)

      • PowerPoints

      • PDF documents

      • JPEG and PNG files

  2. Resource Title

    • Description: Allows the user to enter the title that will display in the container for the end-user view of the resource.

    • Required: Yes

    • Type of Input: Text area (multi-line text input)

  3. Resource Description

    • Description: Allows the user to enter the title that will display in the container for the end-user view of the resource.

    • Required: No

    • Type of Input: Text area (multi-line text input)

  4. Resource Deletion:

    1. Description: Allows users to delete a resources from a Focus Area.

User Interaction and Validation Notes

  • Validation for resource upload should include checks for prohibited file types that might interfere with the system's functionality.

  • Resource Title and Resource Description: The Resource Title and Resource Description will wrap two lines in the container in the Focus Area card before being truncated. The container should responsively expand as the lines wrap in the container.

Focus Area Resources Workflow Description

  1. Accessing the Page:

    • When a user navigates to the Resources tab of the "Focus Area Builder" page, they can select Upload/Choose button to select a file from their computer.

  2. Resource Details

    • User will enter Resource Title and Description that will display in the container in the Resources on the Focus Area card that displays to the end-user.

  3. Resource Deletion

    1. User will be able to delete a resource from a Focus Area after it has been added.

  4. Focus Area Card Display

    • The Focus Area Resources will display in the right column of the end-user focus area card.
