For a product update, the TheraWe engineering team has been busy over the last month to make enhancements based on feedback from our customers, fix bugs, and continue to build solutions to increase parent/caregiver engagement. Please see the items being released and their target impact below!

Please use this as an opportunity to update your iOS or Android mobile apps.

Item 1: Ability for providers to login directly to TheraWe (with their Rethink email/password)

After your next Rethink login, the systems will verify your account and then sync to allow Rethink users to login directly to the TheraWe mobile app (or web platform, www.therawe.co) on their next login.

Impact: This will enable chat messaging, while data tracking; session notes, while video calling; and commenting on parent posts on mobile while viewing the schedule on the web.

Item 2: Ability to Invite Caregivers/Parents via SMS

In the Add Contact section of the Client Profile, if a contact has a U.S. phone number, and the “Invite to TheraWe button is selected, then the parent/caregiver will be sent an SMS invite to setup their account for the parent/caregiver portal.

Impact: In a world of too many emails, parents can now receive invites via SMS to set up their account. This will continue to close the gap on pending accounts and missed invites.

 

 

Item 3: Ability for Users Receive SMS Updates for New Messages and Live Video Calls

Parents and providers can now receive SMS updates for new messages and new video calls. With a U.S. phone number in the system, an SMS will be sent to the user with a message preview and a link to respond to the chat or join the video call.

Impact: Reaching parents (and providers that opt-in) in the communication where they want to be reached, while also providing a HIPAA protected platform for communication.

Other Fixes:

  •  Andriod Posting Process - additional safeguards put in place for managing to upload of attachment and if a file has an error

  • Email “From” line to be from “TheraWe Message” rather than “info”

Focus for the Upcoming Weeks:

  • Ability to control which user is on the screen by “pinning” the screen in a live video call

  • Ability for providers to see read receipts when providers see the messages

  • Ability to “subscribe” to notifications for a post of a client
