SEL Assessment - Hide Not Active Assessments

Design

If the time frame is closed for an SEL assessment, then the assessment should not appear on the Assessments page. Users should only be able to assign one current assessment. This will ensure assessment fidelity and accurate data collection.

Fall 2019 Assessment Dates

Open: 7/01/2019

Close: 12/31/2019

Spring 2020 Assessment Dates (Spring 2020 should be launched when this enhancement is made)

Open: 1/1/20

Close: 6/30/20

Open: 7/01/2020

Business Rules

-If a student has partially completed an assessment, but the window is closed for the assessment, then the assessment should be archived. This assessment should not show in the Student Center.

-If a student has a Fall 2019 assessment in assigned status, this assessment will automatically be archived and the Spring 2020 assessment will automatically be assigned.

-SEL Assessment Reports will remain as they are - reports will still show for all prior assessments completed by a student or roster as it appears now.

-When new assessment launches, default tabs for Group Item Analysis Report and Group Roster Report should always be updated to show current assessment.

Note: Development flagged logic change will be needed for Fall 2020. This is because there are 3 versions of SEL assessment based on Grade Band. Students need to assigned to correct grade for Back to School before we can assign assessments band.
