Behavior Support: Completing Step 2-Determine Function

Note: Step 1 (Define Behavior) and Step 5 (Track Effectiveness) are the only REQUIRED steps to collect intervention data on a specific behavior.

Step 2 (Determine Function) is an OPTIONAL field and is not required for staff to collect baseline or intervention data on the behavior.

1	Once Step 1 has been completed, click EDIT next the Step 2 to enter in the function of the behavior.
2	Within Step 2 you will find a fillable form asking you three questions:	Have you already conducted an assessment for this behavior? Have you already determined the function of this behavior? Have you already recorded baseline data for this behavior?	None of the fields here are required. You can choose one, or more, functions. If you have collected baseline data on the behavior, via the app or website, the first day that baseline data was collected will be auto-filled, as well as an average of the collected baseline data.
3	Once the desired fields have been completed in Step 2, click SAVE EDITS.
