Setting up a Prompt Hierarchy.

When customizing a Skill Acquisition program for a client, there is an option to collect data with or without prompts. If you select with prompts (prompt specific data) it will provide you with fields to enter in your own prompts and/or edit a list of prompts that automatically populate.

NOTE: With Prompts can only be used with an Opportunity Based or Task Analysis program.

After selecting with prompts, a list of prompts might automatically populate, if it does, those were made within the Company Account by your Account Administrators.

  • Staff can have up to 8 prompts in a program.

  • Prompts should be listed from top to bottom, LEAST to MOST intrusive.

    • Top prompt = Independent

    • Bottom prompt = Incorrect/ No Response

  • Staff can remove prompts that were automatically added.

  • Staff can add in additional prompts.

  • Staff can edit the wording or codes in the text fields

Once a Prompt Hierarchy is added, each target added to the program requires the selection of which prompt counts as correct. You will select from a list of the prompts that were added in the hierarchy.

  • If wanting any prompted responses to count as incorrect, select INDEPENDENT

  • If doing a prompt fading procedure, select the MOST INTRUSIVE prompt that will count as correct. Each less intrusive prompt than the one selected will also count as correct.
