A page for internal RethinkEd staff to enter a new integration for ELA or Math.

Acceptance Criteria

  • Enter new integration required metadata: Subject, Company, Assessment Name

  • Enter Benchmark Default Criteria for one of two scoring types: Raw Score, Percentile Rank

  • Enter Field Mapping for Required Fields with optional notes

  • Enter Field mapping for custom fields and optional notes

  • Select Tool tip checkbox (optional) and text enter if selected

  • Save new Assessment Integration

Workflow Description

  1. Enter Integration information and Settings criteria for default benchmarks

  2. Save

  3. Enter Field Mapping required fields

  4. Select Show Tooltip checkbox and enter text (optional)

  5. Map required fields

  6. Select Add note and text enter (optional)

  7. Add custom field(s) (optional)

  8. Save

 

Key aspects of Add New Assessment: ELA and Math

Add New Integration Modal: MetaData ( ): The modal includes a required selection for Subject as ELA or Math from the drop down contents since the Integration Settings are dependent upon it. Company is a selection from a drop down or a custom entry. Assessment name is a new custom text entry.

Integration Settings: Benchmarks ( ): The Benchmarks tab contains the criteria for the benchmarks. The Quantity dropdown ranges from 3 to 6. The default is 3 benchmarks that we pre-populate as Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 with corresponding Tier Mapping as Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3. Scoring Type is a required field where either Percentile Range or Raw Score are selected. The default shown is Percentile Range with maximum of 100% and a minimum of 0%. The Percentile ranges per Tier are equally divided based on the selection in the Quantity dropdown. If Raw Score is selected, then a minimum and maximum score are required and used to pre-populate the Score Ranges as equal partitions between the minimum and maximum score.

Integration Settings: Field Mapping ( ): The Field Mapping tab contains the required fields to be mapped to the given data set. There is an option to text enter a tool tip by checking the box which opens a text entry box. Tool tips show to the user in the Student Dashboard. Add note is optional. If selected Add note opens a text entry field. Add Custom Field opens a new field to name and match. The name of the custom entry field will show as the heading in the Student Dashboard for the value in the data set for which it is mapped. Custom entry fields also have optional Tooltip and Add note. Given Percentile Range is selected in Benchmark, then we show PercentileRank as a required field. Given Raw score is selected in Benchmark, then we show Raw Score as a required field.

 

Required fields in Add New Assessment: ELA and Math are the minimum to ensure that data flows smoothly to the User’s MTSS Dashboard. If Custom Fields are included, then the values matched show just as they do in the data set provided.
