ABC Data can be collected and viewed on a Behavior Support target behavior(s) via the website and the mobile app. This resource will review collecting and viewing ABC Data on the WEBSITE.

Collecting ABC Data

  • Select the DATA ENTRY tab within a client’s profile, and choose ABC LOG on the left-hand side

  • Staff will choose the:

    • Date

    • Time of occurrence

    • Target behavior(s)

    • Activity in which the target behavior occurred

    • Antecedent

    • Consequence

    • Possible function

    • Staff may also leave a note on the occurrence (optional)

NOTE:

  • When collecting ABC Data, the options that populate from the drop down menus were set by the leadership team within SETTINGS

  • ABC data can only be collected for behaviors that have been created in the Behavior Support section of the platform (only Step 1 of a Behavior Support plan is needed for ABC Data)

  • ABC data can be backdated via the website.

 

Viewing ABC Data

ABC data can be viewed by target behavior via the DATA ENTRY tab of the client’s profile.

  • Select VIEW DATA for the target behavior

  • Choose the ABC tab to view bar graphs based on Context, Antecedent, Consequence, and Function

  • Staff can also view ABC data by occurrence and view any notes left on an occurrence underneath the graph.
