Un-master Targets and/or Objectives
There may be times you need/want to un-master a target or objective that has previously been mastered. This resource will review how to un-master targets and objectives across both teaching and maintenance conditions. This task can only be completed on the website/web browser.
Un-master a Target within the Teaching Condition:
Within a client's profile, click on Data Entry for the client whose target you want to un-master:
Select the program from the program list on the left-hand side of your screen. (This will bring up the data collection panel for your skill) and select VIEW DATA
3. This will bring up a pop-up window. If you scroll down on the pop-up, open up the SHOW GOAL/OBJECTIVE DATA option by selecting the arrow
4. Find the target and select the un-master target button to the right
5. You will be asked if you are sure you want to un-master the target. Click yes.
6. You can now continue recording target data within the teaching condition and/or delete previous data points.
NOTE: To delete previous data points, select the minus button within the delete column.
Un-master a Target within the Maintenance Condition:
- Follow steps 1 and 2 noted above.
- From VIEW DATA, select the second tab titled, "Maintenance".
3. Scroll down and expand the dropdown menu "Show Objective or Goal Data".
4. To the righthand side, select un-master target and click yes.
5. When you return to Data Entry, you will now find 3 options for the maintenance target that was un-mastered.
- Change Maintenance Schedule
- Continue Taking Maintenance Data
- Manually Master the Maintenance Target
NOTES:
Un-mastering targets can only be completed via the web browser.
Targets actively in maintenance cannot be "un-mastered". If the target is in the maintenance condition, it can be reintroduced in the DATA ENTRY tab.
Targets may be un-mastered only if the current goal and/or objective that the target is connected to is "open". You cannot un-master a target from a previous or prior objective.
Un-master an Objective within the Teaching Condition:
Objectives are programmed to move in sequential order (i.e,. objective 1, objective 2, objective 3, etc.). An objective may only be un-mastered if no data is collected in the subsequent objective. After un-mastering an objective, you may then un-master targets within that current objective.
1. Within a client's profile, click on Data Entry
2. Select the program from the program list on the left-hand side of your screen. (This will bring up the data collection panel for your skill) and select VIEW DATA
3. From the tab titled "Intervention", scroll down, locate, and select the un-master objective icon.
4. Return the data entry screen, and you will notice the mastery criteria notification is still shown. This is because mastery criteria for the objective have been met. You may now (1) add a new target to the objective (2) continue collecting data or (3) re-master the objective.
Un-master an Objective within the Maintenance Condition:
1. From the tab titled "Maintenance", scroll down, locate, and select the un-master objective icon.
2.
2. Return to Data Entry. You may now (1) add a new target to the objective (2) continue collecting data or (3) re-master the objective.
NOTES:
Un-mastering objectives with maintenance turned on and no maintenance data yet entered:
- The Un-master objective button will be shown under Intervention Tab (no maintenance will be shown yet since no maintenance data has been entered.)
Once maintenance data has been saved, you will see two tabs, one for Intervention and one for Maintenance data collection
Un-mastering objectives with maintenance turned on with maintenance data collected but maintenance targets are not yet mastered:
- The un-master objective button will be shown on the intervention tab, but the user has access to the maintenance data under the maintenance tab.
Un-mastering objectives with maintenance turned on and with mastered maintenance targets:
- If any targets have been mastered in maintenance, users will navigate to the maintenance tab within view data to un-master the objective.
