Overview Graph (Student Center)

We need to change the overview graph for the student center to reflect the number of unique student logins based on filter selections. This is a metric districts are looking for constantly, so we’d like to bring it to the forefront and allow them to easily see the number of students logging in.

General Concept

Design

  • On the overview graphs page, we will replace the current student center with a line graph showing the number of unique student logins

  • The user needs to be able to view the graph cumulatively or non-cumulatively

 

Business Rules

  • This graph will show if any of the buildings in the filter selection have been allocated Skills or SEL SEL student licenses.

  • We will default to a cumulative view

  • If Student A logs in in September, November and December, Student B logs in in November, and Student C logs in in December, we will show the data as:

    • Cumulative

      • September: 1

      • October : 1

      • November: 2

      • December: 3

    • Non-Cumulative

      • September: 1

      • October: 0

      • November: 2

      • December: 2

District

Design

  • There is no change to the design when filtering by District

Business Rules

  • This graph will show if any of the district’s child accounts the user has access to have been allocated Skills or SEL SEL student licenses

  • We will show the number of unique students logging in at all of the district’s child accounts the user has access to.

Region

Design

  • There is no change to the design when filtering by Region

Business Rules

  • This graph will show if any of the selected regions' child accounts the user has access to have been allocated Skills or SEL SEL student licenses

  • We will show the number of unique students logging in at all of the selected regions' child accounts the user has access to.

Building

Design

  • There is no change to the design when filtering by Building

Business Rules

  • This graph will show if any of the selected buildings have been allocated Skills or SEL SEL student licenses

  • We will show the number of unique students logging in at all of the selected buildings.

Role

Design

  • There is no change to the design when filtering by Role

Business Rules

  • This graph will show if any team member with the selected roles belong to a building the user has access to that have been allocated Skills or SEL SEL student licenses

  • We will show the number of unique students logging in out of those who are assigned to team members with the selected roles at all buildings the user has access to.

Team Member

  • There is no change to the design when filtering by Team Member

  • This graph will show if any of the selected team members belong to a building the user has access to that have been allocated Skills or SEL SEL student licenses

  • We will show the number of unique students logging in out of those who are assigned to the selected team members at all buildings the user has access to.

Student

  • There is no change to the design when filtering by Student

  • This graph will show if any of the selected students belong to a building that has been allocated Skills or SEL SEL student licenses

  • We will show the number of unique students logging in out of those selected.
