My Training | Add Whil to SEL

We need to add a new training series called Mindfulness. This is where we will house Whil content for educators. It should be available to customers who have access to SEL PD.

User Stories:

  • As a user, I want to access mindfulness trainings, so I can work on becoming a more mindful human

  • As a user, I want to know which trainings I have already viewed, so I can keep track of what I’ve already completed.

Acceptance Criteria:

  • Given I am a user who has access to SEL and permission to view trainings, I will see the Mindfulness Training Series under My Training

  • Given I am a user who does NOT have access to SEL, I will NOT see the Mindfulness Training Series under My Training

  • Given I am a user who has not yet clicked on a training, I will see the Start Training button

  • Given I am a user who has previously clicked on a training, I will see the View Training button

  • Given I am a user who has viewed a video in it’s entirety, the training will be marked complete

  • Given I am a user who has viewed a video but has not viewed the entire video, the training will be marked Not Complete

  • Given I am a user who has viewed a PDF training, the training will be marked complete

  • Given I am a user who has not viewed a PDF training, the training will be marked not complete

  • Given I am a user who has viewed the Go Deeper training, the training will be marked complete

  • Given I am a user who has not viewed the Go Deeper training, the training will be marked Not Complete

Add Training Block

UI

  • In My Training, we will add a block called Mindfulness

Business Rules

  • Any user with access to SEL PD will have access to Mindfulness PD

  • Need total number of trainings for this series

Training Filters

UI

  • Once the user has clicked into the Mindfulness Series, they will see a set of filters on the left-hand side of the screen

  • The first filter will allow them to select the training category (i.e. Reduce Stress & Anxiety)

  • The second filter will allow them to select an area within that category (i.e. Build Stress Resilience)

  • The third filter will allow them to select a sub-area (course) within that area (i.e. Calm Anxiety)

 

Business Rules

  • All filters are single select

  • We will pick which category, area, and sub-area to default to

  • Final list of trainings TBD

Main Training Display

UI

  • On the main training display, we will list the name of all trainings in that sub-area

  • Assign and Add to Training Plan will function as they do for other series

  • If the user clicks Start/View Training, they will see either:

    • A video

    • PDF

    • Go Deeper

      • User needs to be able to open all articles from Go Deeper area

  • Once the user has completed a video in it’s entirety or has viewed the PDF/Go Deeper area, we will mark the training as complete. All videos not completed will show a status of Not Complete

Business Rules

  • Users assigned to a training from Mindfulness will count against SEL PD licenses

  • Videos must be watched in their entirety to be considered complete

  • Start Training shows if the user has not clicked on the training before

  • View Training shows if the user has clicked on the training before
