Student Dashboard Attendance Tab | Percentage Based

Description: As a teacher or admin who is viewing the Student Dashboard with the Percentage Based Attendance Tracking Method, I need to see the student’s attendance prior to the 4 week collection period and the Tier Recommendation and Absent/Tardy Rate after the the 4 week collection period so that I can have the most up to data information.

Acceptance Criteria: Prior to 4 weeks from the start of the school year (determined in Define School Year)

Pending Tier Recommendation Notice

1. Description: A notice showing on both the Absent and Tardy screens when 4 weeks of data has not yet reached completion.

2. Validation:

   • The notice shows only for Percentage Based Attendance Tracking (See: District Level Admin Settings | Percentage Based (Default View)

   • Notice Reads: Pending Tier Recommendation: Tier recommendation for attendance require 4 weeks of data.

   • Notice is removed once 4 weeks from the start of the school year has passed.

Absent and Tardy Graphs (Prior to 4 weeks of school)

• These retain the same logic as is already in place showing the bars for the number of absences / tardies for each of the days and hovers.

Absent and Tardy Boxes (Prior to 4 weeks of school)

• Box is gray

• Tier reads: Tier: TBD

• Total Absences and Total Tardies are shown and match what is in the Absent and Tardy Graphs

• Total Absences and Total Tardies are shown in the days of week chart and match what is in the Absent and Tardy Graphs

• Absences Rate and Tardy Rate show the no data symbol (---)

Absence Chart (Prior to 4 weeks of school)

• Contains the same headings as is already built:

  • Absences Date

    • Same; no changes

  • Absences Tier Recommendation

    • Shows: Tier: TBD

  • Absences Rate

    • Shows the no data symbol (---)

Tardy Chart (Prior to 4 weeks of school)

• Contains the same headings as is already built:

  • Tardy Date

    • Same, no changes

  • Tardy Tier Recommendation

    • Shows: Tier: TBD

  • Tardy Rate

    • Shows the no data symbol (---)

Information icons (Prior to 4 weeks of school)

• All information icon information remains the same as is already built including:

  • Absences Tier Recommendation

  • Absence Rate

  • Tardy Tier Recommendation

  • Tardy Rate

Acceptance Criteria: After 4 weeks of data collection

• No changes: All existing designs and logic remain the same as is already built.

User Workflow:

1. User goes to the Student Dashboard Attendance Tab

   • Path: Students (top navigation) > Select Student > Student Overview Page > Attendance Tab

2. User views Absence information as the default view

3. User selects from the dropdown to see Tardy information

Note: Prior to the completing of 4 weeks of school, the User does not see the Tier Recommendations and Rates.
