New Default Prior to Incident field

We need to add a new default field to the incident form which will impact the settings, Create, and view areas of incidents.

Acceptance Criteria:

Given that the user has permission to view and/or edit, they will see a new Prior to Incident field in the settings.

Given that the user has permissions to Edit Reports, they will see a new Prior to Incident field in Create Incident unless it has been removed in the settings.

Given that the user has permissions to View Reports, they will see a new Prior to Incident field in View Incident unless it has been removed in the settings.

Settings

Design

  • We need to add a new field called What happened prior to the incident? after Action Taken

  • Users should be able to delete it from the Incident Report

  • The default should be set to not required

 

Business Rules

  • This setting will be visible to users with permission to Behavior → View Settings

  • This setting can only be edited by users with permission to Behavior → Edit Settings

 

Create

Design

  • We need to add a new field called What happened prior to the incident? after Action Taken to Create Incident unless the user has moved or removed it in the settings

 

Business Rules

  • This new field will be visible to users with permission to Behavior → Edit Reports

  • This not a required field by default

  • This functions as a fill in the blank

  • The text limit is 56 characters

 

 

View

Design

  • The new field should show on the view screens as well after Action Taken unless moved or removed in the settings

 

Business Rules

  • This new field will be visible to users with permission to Behavior → View Report

  • The report will show based on the current incident report template.

  • All fields will show in the order shown on the template
