We will create a video viewer in Assignments to view and interact with the videos and the connected activities.
User Stories:
As an educator, I do not want my students to be able to fast-forward the videos, so I can ensure they watched the entire video
As a student, I want to know what to work on next, so I can continue to learn and complete my assignments
Acceptance Criteria:
Given I am a student in grades Early Intervention, Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 I will see the younger student UI
Given I am NOT a student in grades Early Intervention, Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5, I will see the older student UI
Given I am a student viewing a non-complete video, I cannot fast-forward the video
Given I am a student viewing a video in the video viewer, I will see the option to Close the video to the last location visited
Given I am a student who has clicked “Tell my Teacher I’m done” or “Done”, I will see the Video Assignment Scope View

General Concept
UI
When a student clicks to view a video, they will see the video viewer. Older students will continue to see the view as they do now. Younger students will see the Younger student version
When a student completed the video, they will see a message asking them to tell their teacher they’re done or reminding them the video is already submitted. No change for older students. Younger students will see a new design
If the student accessed the video from an assignment or quiz page, they will be taken back to that assignment by clicking on Go back, Tell my teacher I’m done, or Done
If the student accessed the video directly, they will be taken to the Assignment Scope Viewer.
Business Rules
Students assigned to grades Early Intervention, Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 will see the younger UI version
Students NOT assigned to grades Early Intervention, Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 will see the older UI version
Students will no longer be allowed to fast-forward a video if they have not yet submitted the video. Ideally, students who are watching the video again (and it is not re-assigned) can fast-forward. If this is too difficult, no students can fast-forward the video.
