Program Library Overview For Supervisors

The Program Library is where lesson plans within Rethink are located. Within the Program Library, you are able to search and apply programs to a given client. There are a variety of filters to help you find the skills you are looking to teach an individual. Programs within the Program Library are generic and will need to be individualized once placed into a client’s Client Program list. You can also write Custom Programs for the Program Library. That information is found in a subsequent resource.

Navigating to the Program Library

1) Select the desired client from the Client Tab

2) Click on the Program Library Tab

Searching for Programs

1) You can search for programs by category (i.e. skills, inclusion, or transition)

2) Filter further by domains within the categories (i.e. Skills – Pre-Academic; Inclusion – Peer Interaction; Transition – Community)

3) Filter even further by selecting an area associated with the category and domain (i.e. Skill – Daily Living – Self Care)

4) If the program is a Custom Program (written by you or a Staff Member within your company), you can Filter by Custom Program option

Viewing and Printing the Lesson Plans for Programs

For each program in the Program Library there are lesson plans that you can review to determine whether or not this would be a beneficial program for your client.

1) Once you have searched for the programs you are interested in, you can click on the icon in the Details column.

2) This will generate a pop up that contains the Recommended Goals and Objectives and the Lesson Plan (Images below are an example)

3) From the Lesson Plan pop up, you can download it or print it.

4) You can also print multiple lesson plans at a time by clicking on the check boxes under the Print column.

5) Once you have made your selections, a print button will appear above the Print column.

Watching the Implementation Videos

Our dedicated clinical team has created videos to help providers determine how to best implement the programs in the Rethink curriculum.

1) Once you have searched for the desired programs, you can choose to watch the implementation videos by clicking on the icons under the Watch Video column.

2).This will generate a pop up window in which the videos will play.

Adding the Program to a Client

Once you’ve decided on a program/skill you’d like to add to your Client’s CLIENT PROGRAM tab, you select the ADD option

A pop-up will provide you with a selection to ADD to your Client’s Current Plan or Future Plan

  • FUTURE Plan may be for skills to target in the future or programs for which you are not ready for staff to collect data (would like to make further edits)

    • If you are writing a treatment report (Funder Report) for the client, skills that are added to the Future tab will pull in as Recommended Skills (given that option is within the report template). This can be helpful when writing an Initial Assessment for a client.

  • CURRENT Plan is for programs that are available for data collection, but edits to the program can and will still be needed

    • You can MOVE programs between plans after adding them (EXAMPLE: Added program to Future Plan, made edits, now ready for data collection, moved to Current Plan – editing and moving of programs is completed within the Client Program tab)

    • All programs, regardless of which Plan they are in, will need further edits prepared for effective data collection (i.e. adding targets the goal or objective, selecting the type of data collection, setting the mastery criteria, etc.)

Learning about customizing the program you added to your Client’s CLIENT PROGRAM tab is provided in further resources for the Client Program.

Removing a Program from the Program Library

Criteria is needed to be able to delete a program from the program library

  • The staff wanting to delete the program need that permission within their Role

  • The program needs to be a Custom Program

  • The program cannot be currently added to a client

If it meets this criteria, select the Edit option next to the title of the program, scroll to the bottom, and select Delete. The delete option would only be available if it meets the above criteria.
