Data Entry with Skill Acquisition Programs

Once a skill acquisition objective has been mastered, a user should have the option to unmaster an objective and continue taking data on skill or add a new target to that objective

Master Objective:

Unmastering current objective in view data:

  • Unmastering objectives applies to all data collection types except task analysis since task analysis data collection is without objectives.

View data, ability unmaster targets once objectives are unmastered

After an objective is mastered you will have the ability to unmaster the objective and will have access to unmaster targets from that objective.

1.Objective is mastered. you are able to view the targets and unmaster the objective if needed.

2.After unmastering the objective, you can unmaster targets from that objective.

  • You can unmaster ONLY the current objective after data collection has started.

  • You can ONLY unmaster one objective at a time.

  • Once you enter data on a 2nd or new objective, the unmaster objective button will be hidden/disabled from the previous objective.

    • Ex. Objective 1 has been mastered and objective 2 has one data point for a target. Objective 1 unmaster button is now hidden/disabled.

Data entry with an unmastered objective.

If you have unmastered an objective and immediately return to data entry, you will notice that the mastery criteria notification is still shown, this is because mastery criteria has been met. You can either continue with data collection, add a new target to the objective, or re-master the objective.

Continue with maintenance:

Add a new target

Re-master the objective

Data Entry & View Data with Behavior Reduction Goals

Once a behavior objective has been mastered, a user should have the option to unmaster an objective and continue taking data on a behavior.

Data Entry: Mastery Criteria has been met for the objective and the user

Option to unmaster a behavior objective once, the objective has been mastered

  • Similar to skills, only one objective can be unmastered at a time

  • The most recently mastered objective will be available to unmaster once criteria has been met.

  • Once a new objective has data entered, the previous objective unmaster button will be disabled.

View data: Unmastering a behavior objectives, viewing and clearing data and/or continuing with data collection

Once a behavior objective has been unmastered, all data previous data from that objective can be cleared. In addition, users can add new data to the objective.

Clearing/Deleting data:

Entering new data once the objective has been unmastered:

  • Prior to mastery and after an objective is unmastered, users have the abiity to clear/delete data points from that objective.

  • Mastery criteria can be adjusted in behavior support on a plan if this is needed after unmastering an objective.

Clinical Scenario: How do I delete a previously mastered objective if I have started taking data on a new objective already?

Scenario when objective 2 has at least one data point but you need to unmaster objective 1.

Step 1: Delete all data from objective 2 (or current objective)

Step 2: Go to objective 1 in view data and and it will be able to be unmastered.

Mastering and closing a behavior reduction goal

Once mastery criteria is reached, you will again be prompted to master the last objective and close the behavior program/goal.

Mastering the last objective

Mastering & Closing the Behavior Goal:

  • As a reminder if you have mastered and closed a behavior, it is considered archived in behavior support.

  • To “unarchive a behavior”, go the view plan and move. Then you can unarchive the behavior and it will be considered “unmastered”.
