Ready to make some updates? Learn how below:
Assign Permission(s)
1. Go to Settings>Roles>Edit Permissions (Any role)
Scroll Down to “Scheduler” permission options
Select Staff: User and Staff Assigned to Same Location/Clients: Based on User’s Client Access
THEN
Go to the Client Access permission and check the permission that best fits that role based on your operational needs.
This permission controls the client appointments the user will be able to view and/or take action on for staff they have permission to access.
TIP: To provide strictly location-based scheduling permissions to a user, do the following:
Select the new Scheduler Permission: Staff: User and Staff Assigned to Same Location/Clients: Based on User’s Client Access
AND
Client Access Permission: All Clients within user’s Location(s)
How will the permission impact the scheduler areas on the web application?
CALENDAR Search Fields
Staff: When using the staff search fields in the Individual, Group Calendar or Appointment list, logged in users may only search for their name or other staff assigned to the same location.
Client: When using the client search fields in the Individual, Group Calendar or Appointment list, logged in users may only search for clients they have client access permissions for.

| Good to Know: When the new scheduler permission is applied, existing filters in the advanced group calendar will be affected. Users will only see the staff, clients, and locations for which they have viewing permissions. |
|
Appointment Restrictions: What is Different from the other two permissions? (Staff: User only and Staff: All Staff)
When a logged-in staff member or another staff member assigned to the same location is assigned to a client appointment that the logged-in user does not have permission to access, the following will apply:
The logged-in user will be able to view the appointment but will not be able to take any action on it, consistent with existing scheduler permissions.
The client’s initials will not be displayed on the appointment label.
The client’s name will be replaced with the text 'Client Access Restricted' in the hover label.
This also applies to any notifications sent to the logged-in user."
