Classroom Dashboard: Features and UI Explanation

The Classroom Dashboard shows information taken from each student’s dashboard and organizes it so that it can be filtered and explored as a Classroom. The Classroom Dashboard then follows the same group across content areas. The Classroom Overview Page gives a high level view of the most recent testing data while each of the tabs dig deeper into the cumulative school year for the content tab selected (ELA, Math, Behavior, SEL). The aim is to facilitate analysis of a classroom group of students over time and in accordance with the school calendar established in School Year Calendar and Admin Settings.

The Classroom Dashboard begins with the Overview Page and depending on the products purchased includes tabs for: ELA, Math, Behavior, SEL, Attendance

If a school district has supplied filtering information through integration, then the district will have functionality to sort students within the Classroom Dashboard on all tabs.

Filtering options with dropdown contents include:

Tier

  • Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3

    • Return values for Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 are slightly different on the Overview Tab from the Content Tabs (ELA, Math, Behavior, SEL, Attendance). See Classroom Dashboard Overview under heading: Filtering Capabilities.

Grade

  • All Grades, Early Intervention, Pre-K, Kindergarten, Grade 1, Grade 2, Grade 3, Grade 4, Grade 5, Grade 6, Grade 7, Grade 8, Grade 9, Grade 10, Grade 11, Grade 12, Not Applicable

Gender

  • All genders, Female, Male, Non-Binary, Unspecified

Race

  • All Races, American Indian or Alaska Native, Asian, Black or African American, Hispanic or Latino, Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander, White, Two or More Races

Education Type

  • All statuses, General Education, Special Education

IEP

  • All Statuses, IEP, GIEP

    • IEP is Individual Education Plan

    • GIEP is Gifted Individual Education Plan

FRL

  • All Statuses, FRL, Non-FRL

    • FRL is Free or Reduced Lunch

    • Non-FRL is students who do not have Free or Reduced Lunch

Housing Status

  • All Statuses, Homeless, Not Homeless

504

  • All Statuses, 504 Plan, No 504 Plan

EP

  • All Statuses

  • Entering (Low Beginner), Emerging (High Beginner), Developing (Low Intermediate), Expanding (High Intermediate), Bridging (Proficient)
