Manual Mastery of Targets

Users can now manually master skill acquisition targets without adjusting mastery criteria. This can be completed in the client program area both in view and edit mode if the user has the permission to make data decisions.

*Manual mastery of targets applies to all data collection types except task analysis.

Manual Mastery of Targets

  • Manual Mastery of targets

  • Entering targets previously mastered

  • Users must be teaching data mode with a skill acquisition goal in order to manually master targets.

  • Users are unable to manually master a target if still in baseline or prior to a baseline date.

  • When using goals with objectives, manual mastery can only occur with the open or active objective.

  • Manual Mastery is available for targets in teaching and maintenance data collection modes.

  • Manual mastery or previously mastered target entry can be entered on or after the baseline data date. (ex. bl 6/1, switched to teaching on 6/1, backdating manual mastered targets on 6/1)

Entering previous mastered targets

Tip! If you’re backdating many previously mastered targets and have a large amount of historical clinical data:

Backdating baseline and the date you switched from baseline to intervention is the critical step.

How to enter previously mastered targets with historical data:

1.Go to data entry, enter original baseline data date.

2. IMPORTANT! Use the calendar icon to back date the baseline data & the date you switched to intervention. This is critical step so that you back date mastered targets.

3.Either from data entry or the client program, click on add target, add target name in, and check previously mastered target.

4.Enter the target open date and target mastery date.

5.Press save and previously mastered targets.

Client Program Manually Mastering a Target

  • Manually mastery is available for Skill Acquisition Goals only or Goals and Objectives

  • Targets can be manually mastered with and without data entered.

  • Manual mastery is available for both teaching and maintenance data targets.

  • To manually master a target in view mode on the client program page, press the master button and select open date and/or mastery date. This same process applies to both teaching and maintenance.

  • To manually master a target in edit mode of the client program page, press the master button to the right of the target on hold checkbox. After pressing, select an open date and or mastery date.

  • Once a target has been mastered in teaching and maintenance the master button will be disabled on the client program page. To change the status, unmastering a target is needed.

Client Program Entering Previously Mastered Targets

  • The previously mastered target feature is designed to allow you to enter a mastered target without data entered.

  • When adding a new target from the view mode in the client program, you will see “previously mastered target” and a check box, simplly check the box and a open date and mastery date can be filled in. This target will be then be added to the mastered target list without data entered.

  • With previously mastered targets, you have the option to edit the dates if errors were made with entering the dates initially.

 

 

Manually mastering targets with and without data entered

  • All targets can be manually mastered with or without data entered

  • Only targets manually mastered with data will be graphed.

  • Once a target is manually mastered with data entered, an autophase change line will be shown on the graph showing the date that the target was manually mastered.

  • If a target is manually mastered without data entered, an autophase change line will be displayed on the graph stating that the target was mastered. In this scenario, no data points will be shown.

  • Targets without data entered will be listed in the details of view data but not graphed.

  • With both scenarios with manually mastery, users can view targets manually mastered and have teh ability to unmaster these targets.

 

With data entered:

Manually mastered targets with data will have a small orange triangle where you can expand the detail to view the data entered.

Without data entered:

Manually matered targets without data entered will NOT have a small orange traingle to expand. It will state that target has been manually mastereld without details shown.

 

Manual mastery and previously mastered target with maintenance data collection

Once a target is manually mastered or entered as a previously mastered target it will automaically move to maintenance if maintenance is turned on.

Once in maintenance, users can enter maintenance data or manually master the target in maintenance data collection mode,

  • Manually mastered and previously mastered labels in view data

    • Manually Mastered Teaching (T)

    • Manually Mastered Maintenance (M)

    • Previously Mastered Teaching (T)

    • Previously Mastered Maintenance (M)

  • When you manually master or enter previously mastered targets, they will have this label in view data for both teaching and maintenance data collection.

  • These same labels will also be shown in analyze data and funder reports.

Unmastering Manually Mastered and Previously Mastered Targets

As a user if I manually master a target with or without data, you are able to unmaster that target in the details below the graph in view data.

If an objective has been mastered, access to unmaster targets is not available.

Manual Mastery & Previously Mastered Targets and Analyze Data

  • Documentation of previously mastered targets and manually mastered targets for both teaching and maintenance will be shown below the graphs in analyze data.

  • This information can be exported when exporting the graphs and target mastery.

  • All details of mastery will be shown on the combination graphs,target specific graphs.

  • Manual mastery of targets and previously mastered targets will be reflected on the cumulative graph as well.

Similar to the Client Program and Analyze Data areas, users will see a chart showing previously mastered and manually mastered targets for targets with and without data entered.
